Hi I just found this board and I am looking for some help with businesses. I am a mom of two and looking for extra income and eventually leave my part time job. I also posted this in the Network M area.



I am currently researching Business opportunities and have some
specific questions. I was in direct sales about five or so years ago,
and that is one of the businesses I am researching again, as well as
the Network Marketing business which is more direct.

so here are the questions I have:



1-your company products (uniqueness or specialty if any, or what makes
your product better than the one at walmart or the grocery store?)and
years in the industry(years and growth)

2-your compensation plan:

-how many "levels" of compensation? wide and deep? breakaway or not?
qualifications and maintainance requirements? Bonuses for recruiting or
selling/volume?

3-investment: starter kit, inventory if any (this includes monthly
requirements for consultant/distributors in order to be active and or
receive commissions).

4- how long have you been in the company and what are YOUR PERSONAL averages </span>in
contact work, sales, recruiting, customer and team members
attrition,income etc. are you content and satisfied with your company?

5- what kind of support do you have from the company and your team leader? Online, offline, paper, calls,etc?

6- any additional recognition, prizes or bonuses from the company for
those that work and achieve certain levels and/or volume/growth??

My first, my passion is my kids. I sell educational toys with Discovery Toys. Love it! My love for the toys has pushed me forward.

Hello Ana, I know that my company is in Canada, but I agree with other posters that you could help by narrowing down the search a little bit. If we all answered your questions, we would quickly overwhelm you with unnecessary information. What types of products would you be interested in hearing more about? It is good that you are researching thouroughly. Many people don't do that before jumping in, and end up not lasting long with their company. I have been thrilled with Mary Kay almost 16 years, and would love to share more info with you if you have an interest in the company. Please share more with us!

4- how long have you been in the company 1 year on June 6thand what are YOUR PERSONAL averages in contact work, sales, My monthly bonus check this month is $804 this is on downline and personal bonus only. Last week I brought home $800 in profit from my parties. I average 3 shows per week, last week was only 2 for the $800 profit! recruiting, customer and team members attrition,income etc. are you content and satisfied with your company? I work with Coastal Vacations and Gold Calling.


Coastal has been around 14+ years and offers discount vacation packages.


Gold Calling has been around since 10/05 and offers a business communications software that is a database management system that integrates with your phone line and websites. It is completely unique. There is no other software on the market that has the functionality that it has.



Both companies are direct sales with a required qualifier sale.


Gold Calling is a 1 up, Coastal varies depending on if you purchase the product or not.


Once you have qualified you keep 100% of the profits, thats 1K,3K or 9K.


Gold Calling investment is $499 or $1500 per year's licence.


Coatal varies, but the ongoing monthly cost for our system is $69.


I've been working with Gold Calling since November of last year and earn an average of $4500 per month.


I literally just got started with Coastal, but my enroller support has made about $120,000 in the past 8 months and is excellent support. I'm in contact at least every other day.


My goal for June is $11,000. I already have 6 pending invoices for Gold Calling that will clear the first week of June, and one pending sale for Coastal.


I love the Coastal system we have set up because I do not make the followup calls or close. I just market the site, and let my marketing assistant do the followup. This leaves my time to followup for Gold Calling.


Of course, Gold Calling helps me to market Coastal as well.
