You have 4 months to maintain your career level, i.e. VIP with the 50% all the time discount. So the system is helping you stay on track of your goal by letting you know when/if you've missed a month where you didn't reach the minimum requirements for your career level.
After the 4th miss, you drop back to the prior career level (i.e. Sr. Consultant if you were a VIP).
