What color do i recommend for a client of mine that wants the smoke eyeliner? Pewter?

I find Charcoal eyeliner gives this effect. Great with a dark grey/black eyeshadow :)

Pewter is a start, but a "smoky eye" can be done in many colors, I persoanlly do a shimmering dark golden green. You really need a black liner - if you are trying to use beauticontrol products only, dip a thin line brush in a dab of water and brush it across a black eye shawdow that is in their trio set (Little Black Dress), mix it in. Use this to line the eyelid top and at least a partial bottom
