I am sorry if this will be a long post,but something is bothering me and you all are great with advice,so i decided to post.One of my consultants who helps me with the kids class at church,whos is raising her daughters by herself,was discouraged about the job she was working ,as they didn't want to work with her family sitiuation.i began talking to her about BC and she signed up in January 2006.I tried to encourage her about the business opportunity,where she could work the hours that were best for her,make money and still be MOM.I did a spa for her and she did a bridal show with me and we split the leads.She had to cancel Beauti U.We had bad weather.She was rescheduled to go next Sat the 29th.I agreed to keep her girls....When i saw her last she had planned for me to come to her house tomorrow and help her do a spa.I had not heard anything different.When I was checking my mail just a few minutes ago,I saw that she had emailed my director wanting to send the kit back to BC.She felt that her priority should be her family and God and right now she couldn't sell.My Director replied,,just as i had told her, that she could be a wholesale consultant and didn't have to sell.I guess I am confused because she had told me she needed to make money.I am hurt too,I guess because i feel like she had gone behind my back,when she should have come to me and if I didn't have the answer,then we could have talked with BC or my director.I am grateful that my director forwarded that email to me,but I just don't understand.I then forwarded that email to this consultant,once again reemphasizing what my director said in response to her email and still offering my help.Have any of you ever had this happen?Again,sorry this is so long.I do feel a little better now.....

I will send you a pm in the morning...oh wait it is morning! LOL Seriously, I just got in from a spa party that started at 6:30. It is after midnight here. Booked 5 parties and talked to 4 potential new consultants. What a night!

Promised Shelley an update on my party Friday night, so I will post it here.


The party was 1 1/2 hours away from home. That is fine, I always travel for parties!


There were 7 guests in attendance. They never experienced a spa party before. There are a ton of BC consultants in the area I was in. They knew about BC, but had never been invited to one of our spa parties. Spa went well! I have 5 dated parties on my calendar and working on a 6th one from this party! Sales were not high, but that is ok. 4 of the guests were asking a lot of questions about starting and I will follow up early this week.


The daughter of the hostess went into labor while placing her order! She is calmly shopping and booking a party with me. Next thing I know she is on the phone with her Doctor. She had a baby girl yesterday!


It was a lot of fun! The hostess booked another one in June for a different set of friends.
