Doesn't Amazon only sell Pampers? I'm not fond of Pampers - but love their new Potty Dance Commerical.

Oh my! That's horrible! May I suggest contacting Huggies, Pampers, and Luvs for coupons. use the coupons when the diapers go on sale. I hope to have my son potty trained by June but we'll see how that goes.

So, maybe it is time to start really pushing the potty training? ;) Of course, my little guy has absolutely no interest in the potty.

It does make sense though. Part of diapers come from petroleum and, with the recent hike in the price of oil, the manufacturers push that cost to us. Maybe a better idea would have been for them to take on that extra cost for a bit of "Bad Economy" PR.

At least the article says it is only going to increase for a few months. But, personally, I'm hoping that my son decides to start using the potty before then.

Huggies is great with coupons, and usually the ones I get are good for at least half a year so you have plenty of time to use them. :-)

I'm actually considering cloth diapers when my little one is born. But then again, I've heard that the price of cotton is supposed to go up too. There is no winning these days.

I have to say that I am pretty fond of the Target brand UP and Up diapers. They are soft and absorbent. My guy is in size 4 and I can get a box of 84 for about $14 and a box of just over 100 for about $22. I will never go back to name brand now.

I live in NYC and the MTA pass has gone from $74 to $104/month in the last 3 years. Now they're talking about adding a $1 card surcharge to new MTA card purchases. It never ends. I strongly feel that this recession is being drug out as long as possible and we've all been conditioned to accept these horrible circumstances and prices. I'm ready to move to South America.....total hiatus!

Prices go up
Weather colder so we cant grow our veggies to off-set increasing grocery prices.

We started to sew our own diapers and it has really paid off. They work great and are easy to wash. We got the idea from bumgenius.
