You will be an integral part of the team as you will be the front line voice to the customers. In this role you will be responsible receiving inbound calls from potential and existing customers and selling Telecommunications products and services. You will sell products such as Local Residential and Long Distance Services, High Speed Internet (DSL), Video (IPTV and DISH Network), and Bundled Packages. Customer service and support responsibilities include performing credit reviews, establishing accounts in the billing system, and providing solutions to a variety of inquiries.

Due to systems requirements, CenturyLink Work at Home employees must reside within legacy EMBARQ phone service territory. You must have access to CenturyLink phone and internet services!

This position can be filled in the following states based on all requirements listed below: FL, IN, KS, MN, MO, NC, NE, NJ, NV, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA and WY. These are Part-time entry level positions

Plus you need following too :
As a Work at Home employee, you are responsible for obtaining your own computer system and home office, consistent with the requirements described below:
- Must have a dedicated work place in your home or work location (free of background noise and distractions).
- Must have CenturyLink telephone service.
- It is not a requirement that you order a separate telephone line from your home service, but recommended, as the line will be in use during your working period.
- Request Unlimited Long Distance (UNLD), as you will be dialing into a direct dial number during New Hire Training. If you do not desire UNLD after training you may elect to no longer have that service, but it is suggested in case you have to call customers directly.
- Cannot have Privacy ID and need Call Waiting disabled (this comes with most CenturyLink Bundles, but request that it be disabled).
- A headset, phone and possibly an amplifier will be provided after New Hire Training. It is suggested that you have a telephone with speakerphone and mute features for New Hire Training.
- Must have CenturyLink High Speed Internet Service, minimum speed (1.5 mbps).
- PC with licensed, updateable version of Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7; 1.5 GHz Processor; 1 GB RAM for XP, 1.5 GB RAM for Vista, or 2 GB RAM for Windows 7; USB Webcam; and DVD reader. Your PC should have the latest virus & spyware software.
- Internet Explorer 7 or higher with no additional toolbars.
- No pier to pier software installed (e.g. Limewire, iMesh, or Frostwire)
- Latest commercially available virus/spyware software with valid subscription for updates (Non-Trial Version Only).
- PC must be physically connected to modem/router using Ethernet cable (i.e. computer cannot be run on a wireless connection.
- Paper shredder.
- Cable and satellite access is not approved.

Applicants are required to take a job-fit assessment, administered online immediately after applying. This assessment will take approximately 25 minutes to complete.

*This position is Part-time. You must work a minimum of 16 hours with a maximum of 29 hours per week
*You MUST work a 5-8 HOUR shift EVERY SATURDAY
*This position starts at $10.50 per hour with the potential for commission with sales

Job Requirements :

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Combined education/experience of at least 2 years post-high school
* Customer focused, and minimum of 2 years customer service and data entry experience
* Excellent punctuality and work attendance history
* Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quotas
* Able to handle a high volume of phone calls in a structured environment
* Must be flexible to work various shifts, including Saturdays, evenings and holidays as necessary
* Proficient in multi-tasking within several computer applications and databases
* Organizational skills and attention to detail; skill in entering information accurately via computer terminal
* Excellent oral and written communication skills – Type 35 WPM
* Ability to obtain knowledge of services available and customer service policies and procedures
* Ability to obtain knowledge of service order systems, billing system, treatment and collection systems and cash entry systems
* Ability to communicate in a courteous professional manner with customers and promote positive company image
* Ability to negotiate with customers and handle sensitive situations tactfully
* Pass Drug Screen and Background Check

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior sales experience in a customer-facing environment – inside sales, telemarketing, retail sales
