View Full Version : New Prices

Did you all look at the prices? Most of them seemvery resonable! I'm happy that most people will not have 'sticker shock' from the new products. They will definetly be worth the few dollar increase!

Except for the new vitamin supplements. It looks like you can only purchase the packs for $129/month. It will include everything, but it looks like you won't be able to purchase individually. I'm used to just doing the multi for women. This will be a huge cost increase for those of us who didn't take the entire set of supplements.

Thanks!

On the 'homepage' just go under products and start lookingfor the new products under that tab---don't click on new products but further down click on not-so-basics and weightloss/nutrition you will find the prices listed there.

just looking at the new thermal fusion... do you think it's "scrubby"? it has walnut shell powder listed...? My skin doesn't do well with scrubby scrubs...

cassandra
04-21-2006, 09:10 AM
yes, I agree, very reasonable.. I was hoping so!

I haven't looked at the vitamins yet though, had to take my girls to library storytime this morning, couldn't wait to get back home to check everything out!smileys/smiley36.gif I take so many vitamins already that I think this will be terrific for me... thinking about trying to get more people on autoship, since they changed the incentives.... $125 for 6 months, get a $125 voucher.

Ah..OK so I understand the Hybrids more.

At first I thought it was all wrapped in 1 pill which got me very excited, but its not, there are 5 pills for morning and 5 for night.

I love the little tidbits of info under each product listing! I am guessing the new catalogue will be more informational also!

Will the autoship still have the 20% extra off? Because with that, and the consultant discount, it puts the power packs at around $67 a month, well, plus $8 shipping so it would be $75. That is kinda pricey, but people that already take vitamins are used to spending. I just need to find those people! smileys/smiley36.gif

anyone know WHY the prices went up for the eye shadows and such? It doesn't seem like anything changed...?

YumsMommy
04-21-2006, 10:38 AM
According to the product launch video - the color line was re-formulated. Perhaps that is cause for the price change?? Still competively priced when comparing to higher end cosmetics - don't you think?

cassandra
04-21-2006, 10:52 AM
true... the colors are still the same? except for the new lipsticks?

cindi8d
04-21-2006, 11:02 AM
I guess....$12 for one eyeshadow color seems like a lot...especially if it doesn't even come in a case or anything...

anet

cindi, I think that is high, too. i am anxious to see what the new pallettes are like, has anyone seen them, I don't know if they are on the site yet.

but if you have to buy 2 and then pay $3 for a case, that is $27. I already thought $10 was high. I can't find all the high end customers, but I know they are out there. The lipsticks went up to $16.50, too, I will probably still sell them for $15 and just eat the loss.

I was told last month by someone from arbonne that they had new packaging for the eye shadows/blushers, so maybe there just not showing yet? I can't find any packaging at all. Hopefully, the new packaging will justify the price increase.

Did anyone notice thenew mascara is water proof? smileys/smiley2.gif

cyndi - good point. I was not thinking about them not even coming with a case....yikes. Hopefully, as Barbara mentioned, they'll incorporate the shadows AND the case.

Fingers crossed!

Thanks ladies,

I could not find the pricing for the life of me. I am enjoying the bits and pieces of information that we all seem to find.

Maybe someone already found this & mentioned it - but just in case, found the cases. no prices yet. under about face color, then accessories. the brushes are there too and both the big pallette and travel pallete. At first glance they look pretty much the same except for the color....

I had a lady order an eyeshadow last night and I placed the order this morning but there is no way I could charge her $12 if it doesn't include a case. Once you add on tax and shipping, it would be almost $14! For ONE color! If it does come with a case, it makes more sense.

sportsmom

Its only on one of the menus, not the other, so here's the link in case you can't find it.

https://www.arbonne.com/products/about_face/accessories/colo (https://www.arbonne.com/products/about_face/accessories/colourCompact.asp) urCompact.asp

Cindi - I agree. I was hoping the cases would come with.

I agree the color prices are a bit high, considering the singles from another</span>
company are only $6 or $6.50. That is almost double. I didn't notice,
did the blush increase as well? Before it was $12 wasn't it? If eye
colors are $12, then blush would be what, maybe $15 without a
case? Yet, $16.50 for a nice lip color doesn't seem so out of
line. Weird. I am really bummed out about the vitamins being in
packs now. I only used the Women's multi and Prementrual Formula and
that was one reason why I have kept my account all these years. Oh well.

You can see the cases in the multimedia movie of the color line. I like the size of the new travel case!

I agree that the prices seem high, but you have to consider what we have here! cutting edge, mineral based cosmetics that are actually healthy to wear and are over the top when compared to other high end department store/infomercial cosmetics.

Chersgiftsngems
04-21-2006, 04:00 PM
OH, but I did just find the mineral powder foundation with SPF 15
AWESOME! Mascara is a bit pricey too, but I guess you get what you pay
for huh? These products have outstanding ingredients and that is what
is so different about this company's products right? I guess we just
need to look at the 1/2 full cup, fabulous new basic products and more!
Tons of reasons to get in touch with your clients to share these great
new products and a perfect time for new people to get started and get
in gear!smileys/smiley32.gif

I guess....$12 for one eyeshadow color seems like a lot...especially if it doesn't even come in a case or anything...

I agree with you too Cindi. I would think it would come in a case. I also don't like that we kept the gold compact. I have a lot of people that want the pressed powder, but won't spend the money on the gold compact.

cindi8d
04-21-2006, 05:32 PM
yeah, I use the pressed powder but I haven't ever bought the compact :)

I'll be interested to see when my order comes in if the eye shadow comes in any kind of case.

cassandra
04-21-2006, 06:21 PM
if you use the eyeshadows frequently, you'll notice that they last sooooo much longer than you'd expect! Since a little goes a long way and it doesn't smear, flake, cake, or fall offsmileys/smiley36.gif you really do get your money's worth... I'm just curious as to the colors though, are they the same? so if we have the full set from before we can show the same colors? kwim?

cindi8d
04-21-2006, 06:26 PM
yeah, I am very picky about my eye shadow. I am used to my eye shadows lasting a super long time and never flaking and staying on all day. I have always used a high dollar eye shadow and the price is $25...for 4 colors. I have never used @rbonne's because I have so much leftover of the high-end kind and I really like it. There's no way I'm throwing it away :D

The new line looks great - I like that the new AI sets are pre-numbered. No more spending quality time with my labelmaker to put my sets in order, and no more printing up instruction sheets! (Hope they do this with RE9 at some point too!) I also love the new travel palette too...I really need one of those. :)

Dumb question....but where are you guys finings all this...I just spent an hour going through the site an don't see any detailed information. What am I doing wrong?

cassandra
04-22-2006, 04:24 AM
on the Homepage, see that brown stripe across the top? directly above that on the left side you'll see pull down menus for "products" and "company"
