Let's get together and help!

Supporting relief efforts in Japan - The Lionbridge Fundraising Challenge

We are all saddened by the tragic events in Japan. As we watch the images and reports coming from Japan, people across the globe are coming together to express sympathy for those who continue to struggle with widespread loss and destruction and to take action in an effort to help those in need.

Lionbridge is taking action as well. To support ongoing relief efforts, Lionbridge is announcing our fundraising challenge to help the people of Japan. We will match donations made by our Lions and affiliates with a minimum of $25.00 and a maximum match of $100 Lionbridge hopes to match $20,000 or more through this program.

We invite our employees, clients and our global cloud worker partners -- translators, web raters, interpreters and others -- to consider supporting any of the following relief organizations in the work they are doing to help the people in Japan. Please donate directly to your charity of choice and then send confirmation of your donation to Michele.Erwin@lionbridge.com so Lionbridge can match your donation. Participating organizations include:

* The American Red Cross (http://www.redcross.org/portal/site/en/menuitem.94aae335470e233f6cf911df43181aa0/?vgnextoid=bfc13a56d35ae210VgnVCM10000089f0870aRCR D) is accepting donations for Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief. Individuals can also text "REDCROSS" to 90999 to donate $10 from their mobile phone.
