Has anyone had any success advertising in the classifieds or other publications for the business opportunity?

I am curios of thatmyself I also have thought about posting flyers around town any success with that either? I know is Robert Allens "Multiple streams of income" book he suggests putting an add in the paper with a number that goes directly to an answering machine with a business opp message on it. Has anyone tried that either?

my sponsor is considering renting a room at a club and posting an ad in the local free weekly papers around our area about a low investment opportunity with huge rewards, etc..I iwll let you know how it works out. I know she is working on the wording so it doesnt come across as some stuffing envelopes scam!
