Company Introduction

Based in Seattle, Direct Interactions provides contact center solutions using American agents that work from home. We are socially responsible in our business practices and seek to provide great at-home work opportunities for all Americans, including people with disabilities. Our clients rely on Direct Interactions to support their customers by telephone and email while representing their brands with care and professionalism.
Direct Interactions seeks three home-based workers for an exciting business-to-business program. Successful candidates will make outbound calls to human resources professionals at major corporations, law firms and accounting firms to encourage them to complete an online survey. These are not “cold calls” because a prior business relationship exists however agents must exhibit professionalism and tact when asking busy clients to fill out the online survey.
Although this is not a sales position, some sales skills are valuable. For example, successful candidates demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships in a corporate environment using phone and email. Our people excel at building rapport and communicate effectively with directors and executives of Fortune 500 companies.
Workers will be measured by their professionalism and effectiveness on the phone as well as their productivity working from home in a virtual contact center environment.

• Ability to articulate a persuasive argument on the value of enrollment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and voice quality
• Must have exceptional listening skills
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor
• Comfortable communicating with highly paid executives and decision makers
• Accurate typing and data entry skills for logging work activity
• Experience with hiring processes in a corporate environment
• Ability to exercise good judgment
• Respectfully persistent
• High level of personal integrity
• Computer skills – successful candidates demonstrate the ability to stay focused while using multiple software applications and browser windows
• Function comfortably in a performance-based call center environment where calls are monitored, recorded and assessed

Minimum requirements
• Legally able to work in the United States
• College preferred
• Two years experience working in a virtual call center
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in finance, accounting, banking, research, or a large multi-national corporation
• Business-to-business calling experience
• Prior work experience in a corporate human resources department
• Some college desired

Technical Requirements
• Computer running Windows Operating System (XP, Vista or Windows 7). Apple computers are not currently compatible with our clients’ software.
• Internet Explorer 7 or greater required with Mozilla Firefox and/or Google Chrome available as needed
• DSL or cable internet (wireless and satellite are not currently compatible with our clients’ software)
• Corded Landline telephone (no cordless or cell phones permitted)
• Current antivirus and antispyware
• Installed and operating firewall

Shifts
Hours of operation for this project are business hours in all United States time zones, Monday-Friday. We are closed on holidays.

Pay Rate
$10 per hour
