Teresa, I was wondering if you are still using Constant Contact for your newsletters? And also, do you send them out monthly? What sort of response do you get from them?

I am also a little concerned with all the compliance issues that it is definately ok to do this? I don't want to start it up and then find out I can't do it anymore! I would like to offer the newsletter not only to clients and consultants in my Successline, but also to those filling out a form for my raffles at fairs, etc. I am going to have a monthly subscriber drawing; I hope that this will encourage people to be on the list.

Thanks for your input!

Carrie

Yes, I still use it & yes, I send it out monthly. I also send things out mid-month if something is going on or I want to stir interest about something to generate sales.

I look at it as a way to keep in touch and a customer service tool. This month for one of the articles, I copied & pasted the info from Arb0nne's website. I had someone who wanted more info about age spots so I figured maybe other people might also. I bet when a conversation comes up in the near future that has to do with age spots, the folks who actually read it will share the info they read. You never know what is going to resonate with someone.

As for response rate, that's a tough call. Much of it depends on people's individual situation. I did a "Buy $100, get $100 free a few months ago & there were some who didn't have the $$ to get in on it, but they have bought products since.

It's all a numbers game when you get right down to it. I don't think the newsletter is a magic bullet, it's simply one of the tools in my toolbox.

HTH!
