Good morning! I decided to use the self tanner in lieu of tanning because I have had zero time lately. I thought I had washed my hands well on a wet cloth but when I woke up this am my palms are darker than my body!! Is there anything I can use to get it off or at least lighten it?

TIA!

Yes wash with soapy wet cloth or just wash your hands after. I have heard lemon juice will help some. I did have that happen once and lemon juice seemed to help.. didn't take it all away but lightened it.

Good luck!!

Use lemon juice and a scrub of some sort...sugar or salt or the SSS. It will take a bit to lighten up but it will! :)

I know this won't help with your tanned hands right now - but for future reference...

Ok, normally I would not dare to post another product outside of A***** - but since this product is not from another network marketing company but rather sold at retail - I thought I would let you know. I've been looking for something to help with the overly-tanned hands myself and ordered the following: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P41351&ca (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P41351&categoryId=B70) tegoryId=B70#

St. Tropez Tanning Essentials Self-Tanner remover. Here are the ingredients:
11 oz: Water (Aqua), Ammonium Oleate, Polyethylene, Acrylate/Steareth-20 Itaconate, Copolymer, Eucalyptus Globulous (Eucalyptus Leaf) Oil, Disodium EDTA, Quantemlum-15, Fragrance (Parfum), Silica, Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
DISCLAIMER: I've not received this product yet so I cannot say wheter or not it works...but I would be happy to keep you posted.
Maybe A***** will come out with something similar??? Anyway - I've had some luck with the soapy wash cloth - but I don't always get all the spots so I thought I'd look for something as a backup.
For what it's worth....

Thanks a million! I'll try the lemon & scrubs first & if all else fails, I'll go for the St Tropez.

I would try the Sea Salt Scrub AND the Cleansing Gel. This seems to work for me as I use the self tanner everyday on my face and neck. Sometimes I get it on my handssmileys/smiley2.gif. Heidi

If it is really bad and you are seriously wanting to get rid of it, try clorox cleanup. Spray on hands and rub, then wash with soap. This stuff cleans anything.smileys/smiley2.gif
