So I've been with KeyForCash since 2007ish and the most I ever made in one week was $80. But this passed week my cash out was on 1/29/2010 and I was able to make $112. I know this is small peanuts for some of you veteran members but I am so excited because I beat my goal by $12. :) Now I can buy my husband his well deserved Valentine's Day present. I wish you all luck and lots of work! :D

Oh I was typing everyday for about 3-4 hours a day straight steady. Maybe even a bit more but the last two days I averaged about 80,000 key strokes each day. There was lots of work on Thursday and Friday. It's like it picked up towards the weekend.

Congrats Jessica,

That's great. It's always exciting when we surpass our $$ goals. Work for the last couple of weeks has been steady and heavy starting on Thurs and even into the weekend. Work was avail last Sat, but gone before the day ended. The week before, the work was avail Sat & Sun & when that happens I can make $200 or more. I had hoped to surpass my last high amount which was around $210, but the work so far the beginning of this week has been sketchy. It will probably pick up though on Thurs. I'm hoping there will be work this weekend as well.

Happy day all.

Hi Jessica, Im really happy for your progress....but I have a question about KeyforCash...can you tell me what the work entails, from what it sounds like there is alot of typing that has to be done, and if so, you have answered my prayers today. Im looking for some work at home doing typing and I haven't been very successful....if you would PLEASE be so kind to give me the information I requested I would greatly appreciate it....do you know if they are hiring. Thank you and continued success.

I just got signed up with KFC and so far I averaged about $1.00-1.50 an hour. :/ So striving for something like $30 an hour is possible?! Good for you!

Arrrgh, it seems like I've been typing for all day and I've only made about $3.00! It is exciting to know it's a real business though now that I've experienced it for myself. It's kinda fun but it's not a way to make a living.

Hi. I finally got accepted today too, and was wondering when the pay period begins and ends? I know that it pays weekly.

Thank you so much in advance!

When I clicked on 'account' and then 'payments' it tells me my next scheduled payment will occur on 2/15. :)

Hello ladies,

Congrats to all who have gotten on with KeyForCash. Just to clear something up about the payment dates. Everyone is assigned a cut off date. If you look under payments it will tell you what your cut off date is for each week. This just means that this is the day each week (it's the same day every week, for ex: Friday. It's ususally the day that you were hired on). But this just means it's the last day for you to earn for that week. If you have made your required amount to meet payment for each week (for some the balance is $20 and for some $50), then they will deduct that from your account each week and your $ amount is set back to $0 or sometimes $0.01. It then takes about 2 1/2 weeks to get your check for each week that you make your required pay out balance.

So, if you are just starting the amount you need to make in order to receive a check should be set at $20. If your cut off date is say on Friday, if by 8:00 am Friday morning you have $20 or more in your account, then you'll receive your 1st check in about 2 1/2 weeks. It used to be around 2 weeks or a little less that you would get a check, but they seem to be getting a little later with the checks now.

But if you reach your required balance every week, then you will start to receive a check every week. But for that 1st check it will take around 2 1/2 weeks to get it. And it will be that same way for any week that you miss making your pay out amount. So, just count 2 1/2 weeks to receive a check for any week that you make pay out. I hope this wasn't too confusing, but just wanted to clear up that the scheduled payment date doesn't mean you will be paid by that date. How much money one can make will depend upon how fast you type, but more importantly on there being steady work for each hour that you work. I have never heard of anyone making $30 jamoehope, especially not under the current rates of .40 and .20 cents per 1,000 snippets. Back in the day and under another owner people may have been able to make close to that (say $15 or $20 and hour as the pay was $1 per 1,000 characters typed), but those days are long gone. On a good day the highest I've ever made per hour was around $9.80.

Buffetwoman, your pay period would run from your cut off day until that same day the following week. So, say your next scheduled payment date is this Friday, Feb 18, then your pay period runs from Feb 18 to Feb 25. It will run from Friday to Friday. At 8:00 am on your cut off day is when your next week starts. I hope I made that clear and you're not confused. LOL!

Happy keying all.

Good to see more people recently getting work through these guys. When I first got online years ago, I tried signing up with them and never heard anything back (I think I even went around and re-signed up and still didn't get anything back). Either way, congrats on those who recently got hired. They are definitely a good way to bring in some extra coin on the side :)

It's a holiday there won't be any work today but a few random snippets. Check back tomorrow. :)

I'd like to clear up some questions for some of you new ones. One asked if it's possible to make $30 an hour. Well answer to that is no. I type fast and the most I've made in 1 hour is $5.00. That was with steady work. getting on one section and not stopping. @ .20 per hour with good work you could hit around $2.00 - $2.50 according to how fast you type and how clear the work is. Hope this helps
