I am new to the business and have been thinking about sending out letters/packets to some friends and businesses that are out of town. Have any of you done this and was it worth the time? If you did send out packets, what did you include with them? Any other suggestions on getting the word out to those that are out of town but still close enough to travel to and host a party or consultation? Thanks for any suggestion you may have. My up line is also across the country. Sheila

Hi Sheila and welcome to the board!
I have sent out samples to friends and family, and found that there is NO sense of urgency on their part to try our fantastic products! The only thing that worked for me was when I sent my actual R*9 kit to them thru insured mail, and included return postage for them. It costs $$, but it's the only way I have found, that gets the results I'm looking for! smileys/smiley17.gif

I suggest you get on the phone and call them. Only your voice can
express why this business is important to you and how much it would
mean to you for them to host a show. If they say no, ask if they
would come to one at your home. If not, would they be willing to
try a sample pack. Most times our friends host shows for us
because they love us, not the company we represent. I know some
need more convincing, but a simple phone call is the best thing you can
do for your business.
If you do opt to send packets, you MUST follow up. They won't
call you about it. If you do not intend to follow up, don't waste
the money on the packets and the postage.
Just my opinion on the subject...
