I really do not want to be negative, but I am disappointed in the training I am/am not getting with my upline person. My first week, I asked if I could observe her or someone conducting a party and she replied that I had seen HER do one when I came to (my first) Gold Canyon party. she says not to worry that she will conduct my debut party.

I asked about meetings and she said we didn't have enought people locally to do meetings. She was supposed to send me some materials last week and I haven't seen them yet. When I call her, I always feel like she is in a rush. I am trying to be patient, but I really want to excel and I feel like I am being held back to some degree.

I do not want to identify her or get her in trouble, but I need some advice....Suggestions?

Hi, Paula. I'm not in Gold Canyon Candles but I feel your pain. I had that problem with my Tupperware sponsor. What I did was went to my director and said that my sponsor was busy and would she mind answering some questions for me. She didn't have a problem with that at all. I developed a friendship with my director and now I get all my help from her. Even 3 years down the line. I didn't feel like I was getting my sponsor in trouble and I got the help I needed.

Agreed. If your direct upline is not helping you as much as you would like, go up a level and see if that person will be more willing to help you.
