View Full Version : Candle Comparison Pics?

Hey gang...

I remember seeing somewhere online pictures of 'ours' vs'theirs'(of course with labels removed smileys/smiley2.gif). The pictures clearly showed how much cleaner and more even our candles burned. I would like to request permission to use those pictures. Unfortunately I can't remember where I saw them. Does anyone know? Or if you don't know and have some of your own can you help me out?

Thanks in advance

I don't know where that pic is, but I was thinking the other day about going down to a thift store or goodwill and finding a nasty sooty candle to buy and use as my comparison candle.

I have been doing my own comparison with a Yankee jar. And there is NO comparison!

The Yankee has burned a nice hole down the middle of the jar with about 1/4" of wax left clinging to the side. Talk about waste! smileys/smiley11.gif

When I get my office parties booked, I plan on taking the current MB jar that I am burning along with the Yankee jar (With the price tag on it!) to show the difference in quality. Ounce for ounce, even BEFORE taking the poor burn quality into account, our candles are less expensive. Add in all the wasted, left over wax and our candle is an absolute BARGAIN!

Absolutely - go to a discount store or Wal-Mart and pick up a couple jars to burn. Let your customers see the waste and the black. Even take pics and add them to your website or blog.

Blessings,

Vicki

Make sure to either burn "the other smileys/smiley35.gifcandles" outside or make sure to keep all of your windows open!smileys/smiley11.gif

I was going to suggest burning them in your garage, but that may not be terribly safe either. smileys/smiley5.gif

Oh no...I'm not doing any of the 'burning' of the other candle myself. That was one of the reasons for my migraine suffering. So I'll ehem have someone else do it then give them a discount or a votive or something for their 'life threatening' sacrifice. ROFL smileys/smiley36.gif
