I know there was just a thread about this last month, the name of the thread was not about real estate though. Does anyone remember which one this was?

copied this from the original post:

My past life I ran an advertising channel for Real Estate- so I know pretty much everyone in the biz except those new in the last couple of years! After leaving that job of 6 yrs I worked for almost 2 yrs doing Real Estate marketing etc for some of the agents- so stayed in contact with alot of them-

Now what I am doing is starting at one office (has over 125 agents) and calling those that I have stayed in best contact with over the last few years and trying to put the system in their hands! Also asking them for referrals ( just like I would anyone else) - now just started this last wk- so will see how this pans out- I started my biz doing my really warm market and off my 100 name list- now am going to some of those that I feel always want to look their best and are in the publics eyes and if are a good agent have the excess funds to spend!

BTW- got a call from the lady I dropped off the systems to yesterday and she loves it and I am selling her the set- the baby line was for her granddaughter so dont know on that yet and the mens line was for her dh- and she said he did use it this morning - but she didnt know if he wanted or not- but she wanted to go ahead and get for herself-

**IF you are interested in approaching a real estate co- get to know the lady at the front desk- they can be your lifesaver!! They will be able to tell you if you can leave flyers in boxes- who to talk to about maybe leaving samples in breakroom/conference room for the agents etc. Since I know them I am not going to bribe them! But you might want to get them to try the system, give them some samples and if you have the small sss give one to them!! They are the ones who talk the most to the agents!!! and if you are allowed to set up and they have tried and liked, they will tell the agents that you are set up and remind them to stop by! You could also maybe throw them an incentive say offer so much in free product for them based on amount of purchases from the agents(yes you would have to keep track)

**NOWI personally would not try to sell anything when you set up- I would try to make this neutral for them- use it as an introduction to the products!- what I am planning on doing later in month or first of next month is to set up in conference room leave flyers for everyone inviting them to stop by( I WILL NOT BE THERE!!!) leave it there for a couple of days(agents do not go to their offices every day)

I am planning on leaving a full sized RE set, baby line, body lotions and sprays, the bath salts in sachets for them to take( and no I will not leave enough for everyone) some of the weight loss chews, detox tea bags and info sheets(the ones from a**) on the f* line and the vanish products!

I am also going to doa drawing for something probably a sss or the body wash/lotion that is on special this month or even a body serum/lotion--I will use the drawing slips as leads- use a lead slip that says I am interested in anti aging, mens line, etc......

The way I look at it is - if half of the office goes in and looks at my stuff(in this case- agents and support staff 1/2 would be around 75) and then only 1/4 actually will try the system- say 18-20 and I only sell half of them- say 9-10 orders- averaging on low side of 100- well think it is worth it- and you have got to figure that out of 9 or 10 that at least 4 will buy the whole set! and with all the support staff and assistants to the agents- very possible to find a new bb or 2 or 3 or .....I think I am being way too conservative with my numbers so this should be worst case scenerio-- I know from last wk and so far this wk- I called 6 agents from this office-2 tried system last wk- one placed an order for 125 the other has yet to place but she has said she will - one kindly thanked me but declined to try - loves her obagie (spelled wrong I know!) - the lady from yesterday is buying a set after using system only one day-and 2 I have not heard back from as of yet-and I picked up the secretary and will be dropping her off samples this afternoon-- so not bad- so I believe my numbers will be better overall than what I am figuring on!

Oh my gosh I wrote a novel!!!!

I must say, as a former real estate agent, I think it would be hard to give arbonne as a gift to a new client. I tried to keep my gifts related to the house. Unless, you get the aromatherapy lines (unwind?) for after the stress of the move? But that is so womanish. Then again, most men didn't care about the gift, the woman usually did. I wouldn't spend more then $30. I believe there was even a rule for that from the board of realtors to limit the price agents can spend on the gifts.

Hi! I've been lurking for awhile and finally decided to
post! In Tennessee, the maximum an agent can spend for closing
gifts is $50.
