Ok, so I'm working on doing my debut open house with Beauticontrol. I've asked around to see what is a good time and day...some people have told me Tuesday nights and some Saturday afternoons/mornings.
Now, in the real estate game, when trying to make an appointment with a For Sale By Owner, we give 'em a choice so ONE of the times will work for them or we'll at least find out their interest level. SO, my thoughts are this:
I've got a bunch of people to invite. For some Tuesdays would be better and others Saturday...I'm going to give them this choice by calling first, telling them what I'm going to be doing...they GOTTA come and experience it for themselves...and which is better, Tuesday or Saturday?
At this point, I've got them 1/2 way committed to a day and by giving them a choice, they feel obligated more. It works in real estate and I'm sure it will work for this!
What am I going to say if they can't do either day? Well, then I'll ask them next, How about a one on one? I'll come over there, you can invite your mother, sister, friend etc...or two, to experience with you. I'm not gonna SELL you anything, I just want your opinion on my new business, (Maybe you'll tell some others), and you get some relaxing and girl time with me so we can catch up...it's been so long since we've seen each other, etc....
Now, I have 2 open houses booked for my first week, SURELY they can find the time this way and then I've basically got them pinned down one way or the other!

I wonder if it would work with our hostesses too? Maybe give them this option as well so they can earn more for their party?
