This is something that so often gets overlooked and should become a habit.

Here who actually made a goal for April?

Care to share? How's it going for you? Are you on track?

What is your motivation for achieving your goal? How are you using this to keep you going. (I've learned that everyone's motivation factor is different, and sometimes it can actually become an excuse not to work your business. This is important to keep in the front of you at all times.)

My goal for each month is 12 parties and $3000 in sales. I'm off this month though because of Easter and all the school vacations right in the middle. But I managed to get on the phone last week and book 3 more April parties so I'm probably going to have 10 home parties and 3 book parties (provided no cancellations). So I might not be off that much on parties, I just need to get my sales up this month. So far, parties have been low attendance and therefore, low sales.

My motivation is always to boost my unit sales and my bonus that I earn. I always have a goal to have at least a $500 bonus/commission check the following month. (That's in addition to my personal 30% commission on sales that I get at each party.) That "extra" money goes directly into the family budget, so that's a necessity. My "other" motivation (which may actually be stronger) is to be #1smileys/smiley9.gif. Not necessarily for the month (haven't been in any given month yet this year) but to stay there overall. I have to admit, although I try not to let it show, I REALLY like being there and I get very down when I'm not. But I also realize at some point I'm going to be beaten my someone. (However, I have some "issues" with one of the people that is typically on my tail).

Well, there's my goal and motivation. It's good to take stock about mid month and look for what you're shooting for the next month and if you're on track. If you don't, you have no map of where you're headed and you won't reach your destination.

Great topic, Debbie.

I always have a new goal each month. This month, we have a fantastic consultant incentive through corporate, so I am working my way towards earning that. Plus, I alway shoot for 10-12 parties each month, and look forward to growing my team by at least 2 memebers each month.

Goals are such a great way to keep your business moving forward!!

My goals for April are to get ready for May 1st, our launch! I need to mentally prepare and phyiscally get on the phone. My goal for the next two weeks is to book June. I have 20 parties scheduled for May, and 4 for June, so I want to make June up to that 20 mark. I have also made the goal to listen to any free training on booking and recruiting as is possible. (I do have a 18 mo to take care of smileys/smiley1.gif<!--
var SymRealOnLoad;
var SymReal;

Sym()
{
window.open = SymWinOpen;
if(SymReal != null)
SymReal();
}

SymOnLoad()
{
if(SymRealOnLoad != null)
SymRealOnLoad();
window.open = SymRealWinOpen;
SymReal = window.;
window. = Sym;
}

SymRealOnLoad = window.onload;
window.onload = SymOnLoad;

//-->) So far I am on track and where I want to be. I plan on booking 4 a day starting Monday, and by Friday I should have June filled. Why Monday and not today? I am taking a little break for my family, we are getting out of the house and visiting some friends. I am trying to spend as much time with Abbey now, because come May I will be gone alot more than she is used. It will be good for both of us.

Deb, I love the site! I am very interested in the accountabilty calls. Right now I know what I need to do, but could use an extra person pulling for me to reach my goals and giving me friendly reminders when I get off track. Some of the classes sound great too. I need work on my recruiting skills. I will pm you later.

Thanks,
Melissa

I'm super new to BabyCrazy so my goals were pretty simple... get my
paperwork done, buy my kit, get my website, prepare some basic
marketing materials. I planned to "launch" in early May because our new
summer circular comes out the first of the month. My husband had
other plans. He's been giving my website out to people he knows
and I just got my first sale! I'm going to be spoiled about how
easy that was. =}

Anyway, I'm done with most of my goals except that I'd like to have
some advertisements in place (or in the works) by the end of the month
so I can start May off with things rolling. I also want to finish
my business plan for this year and submit it to the office.

My Greeting Cake goals were similar in terms of just getting all of my
application materials competed, but my big thing is to get my website
up and running. I'd also like to book at least one
fundraiser. I have a ways to go there, but I have a few leads.

Thanks for asking. I'm working on getting over my fear of setting goals. =}

"I'm working on getting over my fear of setting goals. =}"

This is hard because of the fear of failure. Since you are just starting, be sure to do a 6 month and a 1 year goal as well. Have your upline break it down for you into easy to chew goals. smileys/smiley36.gif

Congrats on your first sale!

My goal use to be to do 5 parties a month. Now I do about 15 parties or events a month. That's what I shoot for to fill my calendar. April is there and June and August are on there way but I am having a harder time booking May and July.

My goal is for a total of 18 recruits for the month and then to get those 18 to have $500.00 in wholesale within the first 8 weeks of their sign ups. My goal for 18 recruits with $500.00 in wholesale would get me and a guest to New York City, all expense paid. What a trip, huh?

The second reason I would like multiple recruits (who are working) is because that would put me in Director in Qualification status and I would be well on my way to get my mustang with the Home Interiors and Gifts racing stripe. My ultimate goal this year is to become Unit Director and to go to Hawaii. But I need 15 more recruits. Who wants to sign up? LOL.

My goals for April: Book twice as many parties for the month than I had last month. That is on track!

Add3or morenew consultants to my team in April. I have 3 so far! So that is also going very well.

Motivation: I want to fill my calendar up so I have business to support my "promotion" May 1. Recruiting 3 - 4 consultants will help me promote to Unit VIP.This is the first step into leadership. I want to develop a good team who loves what they do and help them achieve their dreams. By doing this, I will achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a Unit Director.

This month my goal is to help my team build their teams!

So many on my team have one consultant- I would love them all to get at leastone moreso they become senior consultants. We have our Harvest Convention in August and I know this is a goal for many of them smileys/smiley32.gif!

I'd also like to throw together a tasting for April vacation (next week) and invite past hostesses and many people that have expressed an interest in becoming a wine consultant. If nothing else it will be a really fun time smileys/smiley1.gif.

Good luck to everyone!

Linda
