Our 2010 Holiday Drive has been spectacular and is still giving us great call volume!! We always have room for more! We have also extended our Holiday Certification Special until January 30th! This means that you can have your certification costs deducted from your first invoice if you complete our hiring process before the deadline so that you will have no upfront startup costs!
Updated to add: You must complete certification within 20 days of your background check being complete.

I took the tests but I never heard back. I used my yahoo address and I checked my spam and junk folders and nothing.

Did you send your email to the review team to let them know you were ready for review? Are you by chance using an AOL email address?

I passed all the tests and had a wonderful interview. She told me I would hear back within 48 hours and then I never heard anything. I had a feeling I slipped through the cracks. Any advice?

Hi, saw that you are still taking new applications, I use to contract with ACD Direct back in the January and up to April 2009, unfortunately, I had received employment with another job and I had to resign my contract. My question is, I would like to contract again with ACD Direct, would I need to reapply and pay the back ground check again? How long do you keep previous contractor's on file?

We would be delighted to review your application. Our policy is that if you have not processed a call within 6 months, then you will need to reapply. This does mean handling the background check and initial certification process fresh from the beginning.

Any advice?I had a wonderful interview also, was not contacted within the 48 hours but was contacted later and told I did not make it. I know two other people that said on another board that this happened to them as well. Thats really all I have to say about that. :cool:

Unfortunately, because the nature of our call volume is so different from a typical DR/Sales related experience our clients have outlined very specific guidelines for what they expect. However, we do understand the sometimes nerves can play a pretty big part in the display of someone's abilities and we do allow the opportunity to reapply in 90 days.

Hi, I just submitted my online application, and received right away the pre screen voice sample email, I just want to double check my resume and cover letter is still needed to submit with the online application? I don't remember doing the voice sample until the interview, maybe this has changed.

Hi...I was accepted as a contractor a couple of months ago but unfortunately had to deal with an issue concerning my grandmother. Because of that I couldn't finish my second class! I'm ready to take on a contract now and wanted to ask how I go about doing my certifications over? Do I reapply...or send an email do a specific department?

ok so i missed my interview last night cause there was a outage in my area and i could not call or get on the internet according to the email it said if i missed the interview i could email them to see i could get another one is that true? i tried to reschedule thru the gateway but it said my user name and password was incorrect

I believe what may have occurred is that when you called one of our clients was sending us a particularly large amount of call volume. You can contact the email address that you were provided during the initial step of our hiring phase to request the opportunity to reschedule.

Hi, Just wanted to let you know I am very excited that I got the contract with ACD Direct. I applied about 2 weeks ago and last week I had my interview. I have not begun the training as of yet. I am waiting for the next set of dates for the training schedule, just that the ones they posted, I am not able to attend. I use to contract with you early in 2009, but I had to resign due that I had received other employment.
However, my question is (I forgot) how often do they post for training classes? I am hoping I can start sometime next week? I have already submitted all my info on the profile page of the gateway. If you can find out please let me know.

I believe certification classes are posted on Mondays. There are a couple available right now but if they do not meet your scheduling availability, please continue to watch as more will be posted.

It is not that I don't respond...trust me, I am trying to help everyone! However, I simply do not process the certification fees. Send a gentle reminder to the certification department. We have alot of people taking advantage of this special and with Christmas just past, I am certain that the certification department is working hard to get everyone caught up. Something that will help is to have your SS number already entered and ready to go so that when they process yours, there will be no delay in getting you ready for classes.

I've done everything that you have asked me before. I sent "gentle reminders" 3 times and I've already updated my profile with my ss number. Couldn't I just get a response back at least with some sort of acknowledgment?

Actually we do have a spam filter just like on your emails and it is possible it is getting caught in the spam filter. Also you may need to check your spam and bulk mail folders as often there could be a response in there waiting for you.

Ive done checked my spam over and over again. I'm about to give up on this. I don't want to, I was hoping to start working for them soon especially doing some evening work.
