View Full Version : Coaching classes

I'm getting my coaching biz into gear and wanted some feedback on tele-classes. I'm going to do 1 on 1 coaching, and then classes for those who can't afford the 1 on 1.

I know not everyone needs this, and I applaude those who have a supportive upline. These services are for those who do not get support from their team, or who want to focus on an area they need extra help in.

I'll have 2 tracks to start, with a third I'll add later.

1.) Getting started. Finding your perfect fit/job or biz/is it a scam/etc./from A to Z

2.) Building a better business--finding customers/recruiting/sales/goal setting/motivation/Why ask why?/, etc.

Why would you use a coaching service and what would you hope to gain from it?
<UL>
<LI>Would you rather have a 1 time class or a course. Like recruiting could be a course.</LI>
<LI>Would you rather have a per class fee or an unlimited monthly fee? </LI>
<LI>Would you like to see a referral program to earn free training/coaching?</LI>
<LI>Would you want the option for group fees/private classes for your team?</LI>
<LI>What classes would you want covered?</LI>
Thanks for the feedback! Please add anything else!

Debbie

I would love to go to a class with lots of reps teaching how to market effectively and than have time to mingle afterwards.

Hi Deb,

I like track #2 - Building a better business. I think (IMO) this is the hard part. Especially the goal setting and motivation.

If I was to use a coach servicing I would use it for accountablity. I would use the service to make sure I was hitting my goals and staying motivated but on a very personal level. I hope that makes sense. For example if we came up with a coaching plan for me to make 10 calls, I would expect that we have worked out a script for my phone calls that is comfortable to me. In my next session with you, my coach, I would expect you to say did you call those 10 people let's analyze what went right, what went wrong.

I would like different courses to pick and chose. So I guess I would like a per class fee. The referral program would be a plus. Team classes would be great.

I would like to seegoal setting, motivation, building your contact list and calling contacts.

Now, I have a question for you.When are you starting?smileys/smiley1.gif

Debbie, I think it all sounds great. I believe offering the per class fee and the monthly fee for those who need that support ongoing is the way to go. I would love the team classes as well.

As far as why would we use coaching....I would love to have my team on with you about your Track #2. I have a lady that has signed on to all 3 of my companies with me but hasn't gotten started and I think hearing your experience and tips would help her. I have another lady that is in many businesses and I think you would help her focus on goals with specific ones and I have another team member who has never done party plan before so hearing everything will bea tremendous help to her as well. I talk to all these ladies and share what I know with them, but I'm their upline. Sometimes it takes hearing things from an independent source, who isn't making money off them if they are a success, for them to really believe in what they are doing or to help them see that they can build a very successful career doing this type of business.

As I mentioned in an email to you, I feel like you are truly blessed with the ability to mentor and motivate others. I believe you are going to do wonderfully at this and can't wait to see you posting about the success!

Let us know when you get ready to get up and running so we can utilize what you are offering!!

My goal is to start next week. smileys/smiley36.gif

I'm figuring out classes &amp; prices now and starting my website: http://familytoys-ivil.tripod.com/coachingwithheart/ (javascript OpenWindow'http://familytoys-ivil.tripod.com/coachingwithheart/')

This is just a temp for now.

I want to help people find their passion and help people succeed in their passion.

Your feedback is very helpful!

Ifyou want to book me for their team, let me know and I can started sooner. I plan to do intro specials.

I also have a track called Accountablility Calls. This will be free to anyone who subscribes to a paying service or will have a monthly fee if used alone. It will be a support group, with personal and business goals. I'm outlining it now.

Keep the thoughts and opinions coming!

Deb this sounds like it would be perfect for an adult education program that communities offer at night. This would give you awesome networking opportunities.

Hi Deb,

I just wanted to add that what Krystal said can be used as a great marketing tool. I believe she has on her team every type of client that would make great coaching candidates. A person, like myself, who has more than one business and a new person.

It really does help to hear the information coming from more than one person.

Great sharing Krystal!

Debbie,

Wow! You're off to an amazing start! To answer your questions:

Why would you use a coaching service and what would you hope to gain from it?
<ul> Would you rather have a 1 time class or a course. Like recruiting could be a course
</span>I'd probably prefer a course because you can't go in-depth in a one-time class.</span>

<ul>
Would you rather have a per class fee or an unlimited monthly fee?
I like a per class fee</span>

<ul>
Would you like to see a referral program to earn free training/coaching?
If I felt it was worthwhile, I'd
refer people without seeing any benefit. It's a bit of a
double-edged sword... the referrals could bring in more people, but it
could "cheapen" the word of mouth factor.</span>

<ul>
Would you want the option for group fees/private classes for your team?
I think this is a great idea, especially for reps who may need some coaching, too. </span>

------------

I also agree that this would be a great marketing tool for your other
businesses. Your website looks pretty good so far, but if you
aren't already planning on it, I'd recommend springing for your
own domain because it looks more professional. You can get
webhosting for $4 or $5 a month and your own domain for just a
few dollars a year so I think it's a worthwhile investment. It
makes it easier to market/locate your site online, would provide you
with professional looking email, removes any ads, and gives you total
control over every aspect of your site. It also allows for more
traffic to your site. I think small business owners underestimate
the impact that a quality website can have - this is my own personal
crusade, of course. =}

Can't wait to see where you go with this!

Thanks!

I do plan to get my own domain, but I need to figure out on what I want. That will be a question coming soon. smileys/smiley36.gifI'm not into technology unless I have to be, this is just a start.

Keep it coming!
