Hi everyone
I have a lady who is asking what would be a good choice for "light brown lipstick"
I don't even wear lipstick so I have NO idea what to suggest! Any thoughts??

Twig!
I'm giggling 'cause I just applied it after lunch and then looked at your message.
It's a great neutral.

I wear Twig, too. I am not a big lipstick person, so I like that it is hardly noticeable, but adds a little color.
Espresso is almost the same shade, but more dark/medium shade. It doesn't go on as dark as it looks.

I was thinking Espresso. I've never seen Twig in person, but have seen Espresso and it is a lighter/medium brown. smileys/smiley1.gif

I'm probably dating my age here but I wish they would do those little sample sticks like Avon used to (or may still do) So we could have samples of the colors with out having to spend an enormous amount to know what to recommend. Even card samples so they could swipe it and know what it looks like.
I know we had the color bonanza option to start out but I started out a Wholesale buyer and wasn't willing to shell out that much to get colors I would never use. I don't think it would be fair to the company to order til you get the color you like and return those you didn't. Is there any other option? I think we would sell a lot more if they could see some sort of swatch. Even a card with a drop of the color just so you can smear it seems more efficient for the company than to havereplacements for the full line. Maybe a suggestion of sorts for the Product development. HMMM!

They did have little card that people could try the colors.. WAY back. It didn't go well and people complained about it. It also got expensive. If anyone can think of something email it to Arbonne they are alway interested in our thoughts. I was think of something for the lipsticks like they have for the foundations???? just a thought

My previous company had a color wheel for all products. You dialed it to your hair and eye color and some how it showed cool warm and neutral although I don't remember how. You were then given the colors of the cosmetics that would look good on you. It was great having such a hands on tool to let clients "play" with.
I would still love to have small actual samples though, more of the foundation like sets for the eye shadows and lip sticks would be great!

Our team has templates that were made to paint the colors on. They are sheets with the color names and we paint the colors on and then people can at least see the actual colors. It's really hard to tell online or in the catalog. I have called Ar***** to tell them that the color I bought didn't look the same as what was represented. They told me to keep it and sent me another of my choosing. I hope they come up with a new system!
