Last summer I flew in to San Diego, saw a great friend, then drove up to LA, hung out with a partner/buddy, THEN drove up Pacific Coast Highway to Northern California and saw a lot of friends there!
I had my "office" with me, i.e. my laptop and cell phone!
It was a wonderful trip... hmmm, you're making me think about redoing it! How far are you from LA?

I live in Arcadia, CA; which is in Los Angeles County. Just 20 minutes from the city of LA. Let me know if you come this way at all. I will just be home this summer with my big 'ole pregnant belly, waiting out the heat. smileys/smiley1.gif And San Diego is beautiful any time of year. My sister used to live there and her husband's family lives there. It's one of our favorite cities to hang out in.
