Hello,
I am so excited. I just got my first BB. She is only purchasing one RE9
kit, therefore she has a lot of Personal Retail Value left to reach
that $1,000 level. When I signed up I purchased the 4 RE9 kits so I
never worried about reaching that $1,000 PRV. I don't know if I simply
wasn't paying attention but I never thought to ask, actually never
wondered why we have to reach the $1,000 PRV? Can anyone answer that?
Is it simply to let the company know that we are working this as a
business and are willing to invest financially? But the big question
is....do I (and my BB) get the 4% override from the $1,000 PRV?
I actually feel dumb asking that. That is important information I should know if I want to find BB.
I lurk on this site every day and I really appreciate the information that is available here.

Hi Roxann, and welcome!
Entering into this company, you actually do not even HAVE to place any order, I know i didn't, just paid the applic. fee at first until I had more money to keep going.
The reason that it is very beneficial to get $1000 in sales in your first month is that The company is offering a special promotion right now.....if a consultant places $1000 in orders in their start month, they automatically get to first step district manager!! Your friend may take advantage of this or not, it is completely up to her smileys/smiley1.gif
You will receive 4% of her sales in your override check. You will not receive 4% of your own personal sales, only those you sponser below you. Once you make it to DM, you will receive 8% on those below you AND your own volume!!! That is why this "$1000 in start month" promotion is a great opportunity for new consultants to start growing towards district!
Good luck to you!
Carrie

Carrie- just as a note...regardless of the 1000 PRV qualification right now, you need to have 1000 PRV regardless during your qualification period for DM. For example, someone can do 2500 in GRV and still go into qualification without the PRV, but they then will need to have 1000 in PRV during the qualification period. Does that make sense?

My BB is really disappointed she will not be earning 4% on the $1,000
PRV. As previously posted, I didn't think this was a big deal when I
signed up. This is only my second month working the business and I will
most likely make it to DM at the end of this month. That is without any
BB signed up. What can I say to her to ease her mind? After all it is
only $40. I look at it as one more reason to hustle and move to DM as
quickly as possible. Who wants to hang out at the 4% consultant level?

it's actually less than that... overrides are given on the wholesale amount, not the retail amount.

Yeah, it is only $26. She probably got more than that in free product if she ordered $100in her sign up month. I know I got the $72 night cream!
