I got a letter in the mail today from Cardinal Monitoring & Research Group a Division of Waxi Sanitary Supply. Ok I know I applied to be a mystery shopper online. Well they included a check. of 4,992.00. This is what they want me to do. They want me to mystery shop Western Union.
I get probationary training pay of 450.00
Funds for Shopping 100
Western Union fees 290
Required funds sent 4,992
They say it is a training exercise if I do this right I will be considered for full time emplpyment. Do I smell scam? Or is this real? Please help!

I got some crap like that from some company that pretended to look for mystery shoppers.
It is definitely a scam. Your bank workers will tell you that if you brought in that check.
I had done a legitimate mystery shopping job before. The real ones would tell you to use some of your own money which is not much and in most of the cases, will reimburse you for it. Now that is not a scam.
If you love to shop, why not get paid doing it even though you do need to have your own vehicle and some money.
Let me know if you need a list of places that are legit companies to do mystery shopping for.

Yep. I get a lot of the scam mystery shopping email solicitations too. When they send a check in advance, you know it's a scam.
