I got a lady interested in a home book party. What do I give her first for some info on Mia Bella products & pricing. What does she need to do the book party & what are her incentives for selling for me?
I don't have much inventory right now & don't have a sampler bag. Should I try & get some votives for her or have one candle burning & a few small sample scents?

That is great, Doreen! I would definitely give her a catalog (if you have some) with the pricing for the candles. Is this someone who lives near you or is this a long distance book party? If it is someone who is near you, and she decides to do the party, I would supply her at least with some votives for scent "smell" samples. She doesn't need to give them away, just have them there for people to smell and definitely a few of the jars or products there for people to look at, to know what they are ordering. Onebig thing I have learned with our candles is that when people smell them, they buy! So you want them to havesomething to put their noses in. smileys/smiley36.gif
If it's a long distance book party, I would at least try and supply her with a variety of scent samples. Of course, you probably don't have every scent; but at least a few differentscents,so that people can smell how wonderful the fragrances are. If you have catalogs or brochures, I would supply her with those also, so she can pass them out and the guests have something to take home with them that have your contact information on them.
As far as incentives go, that is entirely up to you. Some distributors give their host a few free candles, some a percentage of the sales; whatever you feel may be appropriate. Or it may be something you discusss with the host and see what you can agree on.
Hope any of this info helps.Edited by: WifeandMommy
