I keep getting myself in over my head. I just landed a Real Estate deal. I have to make a 100.00 gift basket by the 14th. She wants Candles and Chocolate. Any suggestions?

Mmmm Chocolate Lovers Basket! Let's see, how about 2 16oz jars, 1 Dark Choc Supreme, 1 White Choc/Coffee, 4 votives with a holder, (2 of each scent), a brownie mix, some choc wafers, some choc cookies, prehaps, some wooden spoons, a bowl to mix brownies in, dish towel etc. Since this is a realtor, I am guessing its for a customer? Those are just a few things I would likely put in. :)

I would say that Frances has given you a wonderful base. That's just what I would do!! Use a large bowl as the 'basket' and put everthing in...including wooden spoon and an Aim N Flame lighter (I always include lighters with my gift baskets because I know folks just can't wait to light up! LOL smileys/smiley2.gif) I'd also add a mug with Hot Chocolate and one of those spoons dipped in chocolate. I like to do things that the receiver can use over and over again...the gift that keeps on giving!! smileys/smiley36.gif

I'd be careful putting candles together with chocolates. Our candles have such a strong smell, you don't want them to "flavor" the chocolate (and food has a tendency to pick up smells and flavors of other foods in a small space).
