I cannot sell this candle as the price is almost 5 dollars CDN more than the regular sugar cookie. Even with the donation, people don't care

Greetings!
I just checked the Canadian site and the 16 oz Sugar Cookie sells for $18.50 and the 16 oz Pink Sugar Cookie BCRF candle is $22, so it is only $3.50 more :)
Here in the US it is $2 more... ($15.98 regular to $17.98 BCRF)
Sorry you are having troubles, over 28,000 have been sold and that speaks volumes! Whoo hoo! I do have a Candle Business Tip video on price objection, perhaps that will help you over this hurdle? :)
I just want to share, I was with another candle company before Gold Canyon and their 16 oz jar candles retailed for $18.95 and their Breast Cancer Candle retailed for $22.95 (US Dollars) and I sold those jars like crazy, in this crazy economy (where I live the unemployment rate is the highest in the US)
Check out the video on my CBT video page, it's under "price objection tips" :) (it's an older video, hence the products, but the message is the same) HTH!

Often when I come across team members whom are struggling with price objection, I find it frequently is the demo themselves who personally feel the prices are a bit high and they unknowingly project this energy to their potential customers resulting in lost sales. Either by verbiage, body language, or a combo of the two they kind of steer their customers away.
What I like to do is I send them to the *Y* brand website to look at their candle prices in comparision to ours. Y brand is the biggest name in candles nationwide, they sell everywhere and have their own stores too. When the team sees how high the Y brand candles are selling for, it gives them a whole new confidence on our amazing prices! When they realize there are TONS of gourmet candle lovers willing to pay THAT MUCH for Y brand, all we have to do is find those gourmet candle lovers and show them our higher quality, cleaner burning, and stronger scented candles to convert those Y brand over to GC brand!
On another note, I have converted Dollar Store Candle buyers over to our brand by showing them how they are actually SAVING $ buying a quality, longer burning candle too!
i.e. Dollar Store votive will last 3 hours and cost a buck. GC votive will last 15-20 hrs or more and costs $1.87. So someone would have to buy at least 6-7 Dollar Store votives to equal the burn time of ONE of ours! Show them the BANG for their buck and they convert!
Whoo hoo!
