I do all my work in the mornings after my daughter has gone to school. I always work better in the morning but I do find myself popping back on to my laptop later in the day just to check emails.

in December we are going to have a baby, so I think the timetable will change a bit...

I run more than one biz. One requires day time work anywhere between 6am-5pm. My other biz that I'm still building, I squeeze in when ever and where ever I can.

I work after my baby is off to school, 2 hours in the morning and around 5 hours in the afternoon. After studying and tucking her to bed I still work a few more hours. I so love my work and I just wanted to give my best especially that I work at home.

I am a morning person. I can get more done in a few hours in the morning than during the rest of the day. I do my best to schedule everything between 8-11 am..

I have set work hours, 7-4 but I also run, feed the kids and such during that time. I have all toddlers and only one is in preschool so I feel bad that I work all day. My hubby is laid off so that helps a little.

I do not have a set time schedule as writing and building residual income is not something that has a deadline for me. I will pop on the computer in the morning after making breakfast while my daughter is watching some cartoons. If she takes a nap, that is more work time.

In the evening, she has a couple of shows she likes to watch before bed. I am usually writting up a couple of articles then and after she goes to bed, I will do some work.

Of course there are also the days that I decide that I am not doing any work and head out to go out and do things. One of the best things of being able to work from home!

Currently, I still hold a full time out-of-the-house job in addition to the daily work on my website.
I work for an audiobook publisher 7am-3pm M-F, then work on my site for 2-3 hours every evening, plus at least 8 hours each day on weekends and holidays.

I have a 10-year-old boy, and am a single mom. (to put this schedule in context.)

When my son was home all day, I would wake up at 2 am to get as much work done as I could before he woke up and then would work throughout the rest of the day in between cooking, cleaning, etc. It is so much nicer now that he is in school and I now just work 7 am to 3 pm when he is gone. Some days I don't stay as focused on work as I should and end up having to finish up some in the evening, but it is so much nicer to be able to get a full night's sleep again!

I get you. I work from the time I get up for a couple of hours on my business I just started, and then shift gears to my other job. Both are done at home on my laptop, but then I also have to do the mom/wife thing and it gets overwhelming at times. But hey, I am Woman and I can do it all.

With my family's needs, it can be hard to commit to working "9 to 5" all the time though as they get older they are more respectful of my free time. I tend to work four to six days a week, sometimes splitting my writing/coaching/editing/etc. time into several 2 hours blocks in the morning and sometimes evening.

I found writing down a list of weekly goals allows a lot of flexibility while keeping me on track.

Good luck!

One of the things I like most about being my own boss is I can set my own hours and work when (and if) I want to.

What I put in is what I take out
Normally I dont start until I roll out of bed in the morning and have a HUGE cup of coffee

Unfortunately I have turned into a workaholic and am normally working from 6 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. most days. HOWEVER, I am vowing to change that as of recently. I am trying to only work from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and no weekends. So far its semi-working. But normally I work a little on the weekend still.

I work a huge chunk (4-5 hours) in the morning because I am refreshed and have the most energy, plus my son is at school.

Then take a break in the afternoon to do chores around the house and to stretch from sitting.

I then do a few more hours at night after dinner. I absolutely love what I am learning, so that is motivation.

Hello ladies. I am a mother of four children, so I put in as much work as I can when I can. Sometimes I can get in a few hours, on days when my husband has the day off, but other times, it seems like I have to wait until the kids are in bed before I can get anything done. Need a bigger house with an office, that would probably help my productivity. Well hopefully some day soon.

Have a great one!!!:)

I have chosen positions that allow me to set my own schedule. Not all telecommute are like this, but I tend to be a night owl and stay up for a few hours while everyone is asleep. The house is quiet and I can get a lot done. For jobs that require me to leave my house for assignments, my husband and I work around each others schedule.

I have several jobs, so I work varying hours. The job that pays the bills works nights, and the other jobs can be done at home in my free time. I'm hoping I don't have to work at the night job much longer, but as of this moment, quitting that isn't financially feasible.

I'm lucky; my little boy likes to be right there when I work, but he also listens well enough that he lets me make calls and things as needed.

We have sortof a deal - if I have something major to do, he hangs out in his room and plays with his megablocks or his train or something until I'm done. If it's going to take me more than 30 minutes, it is either going to get done after he's in bed, or in spurts throughout the day.

Everything else is done in spurts. If I'm networking on Facebook, he's right next to me for a few minutes, asks what's that?, then trots off (all of 3 feet) to draw or whatever. I work for about 20 minutes while he looks at his books, colors, etc and then for the next 10-20 (depending on what's going on) we read together, color together, etc. Then it's mommy back to work.

Gives me regular breaks and lets him learn to entertain himself and patience that he has to wait till mommy is done. And of course, usually once it hits 5 no more working - that's making dinner, evening walk, playing with the neighbors' kids now that they're done w/ their homework, etc.

So I suppose you could say I just do my work in spurts. I still meet deadlines and such so it works for us!

Always having been a night owl, I tend to get EXTREMELY productive late at night. Especially if I come home from the day job and get a good nap. 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. is prime time! That is also afternoon in Asia and I do some business by chatting live with people there, so that is a good time for me to get things done. :D

I was Mr. Moming it for a while. Loved sub teaching for a while. But my wife was never supportive of that. Now I'm back on night shift. Worked 2200 AKA 10PM till 0600 AKA 6AM yesterday and today I work 05PM aka 1700 till 0500 aka 5AM.

Should be sleeping but figured I would do some adverts.

I market on my lunch breaks on some gigs. Not really permitted to talk about my job much for security reasons. Totally miss sub teaching. Plan to do that again when I get older.

I can set my own hours - as long as I have 40 hours a week. So I work whenever I feel like it!! Usually I like to get up early - I can work 4am-12pm. Other times, I want to sleep in and will work 9am-5pm. Sometimes I work nights, if I decide I'd rather go out and shop etc. during the day.
