Hi! I am interested in joining Discovery Toys. I remember as a child receiving gifts from friends from DT and my son just turned 1 and received a gift from there as well. It got me thinking, I could do this and sell to all my mom friends!
My question is, what costs are involved? Meaning, like for instance my friend sells 31 and she has to spend $200 every 3 months. Is there something similar to this with DT? Are you required to have a certain amount of parties per month? What if you just sell a lot via online sales? (I know a lot of moms and feel like this is how I would most likely make the most $$).
Also what are the start up costs?

Good morning!
Our active policy is selling $400 per year. There is not a requirement to how many parties, etc...
You can get started with a $35 deposit using your debit card/credit card. The kit is $125 plus the shipping and tax. If you choose to do the payment plan- you would pay the initial $35 and then two installments for the remaining amounts. Great option before the holidays! :)
Typically your kit will arrive in about a week to a week and a half depending on what part of the country you live in. We are able to sell until about Dec. 12th. Plenty of time to order yet for the holidays!!

Hi, I too am looking at this company but I come from a totally different era. I am a grandmother of 5 (brand new one just last Thurs!!) I used to purchase these toys for my kids and now I have been purchasing for my grandkids! I have been purchasing from the same person for the past few years and have been in contact with her regarding the opportunity.
I am confused though, because she has told me that the minimums are $300 per quarter and you mentioned that they are $400 a year. She also did not mention the payment plan. Was that only for a certain time or is it still available? When you do the payment plan (if it is available) do you still receive the whole start kit?
I would be interested in marketing to people like me, grandmas who want quality toys for their grand children (and also new moms, teachers etc) . I am happy to hear that online sales are possible too, since that is how I have been buying the past few years! I found my consultant from the consultant locator a couple of years ago.
Anyway, thanks for clearing up the minmums for me!

Congratulations on the new little one! How fun! I bet you are loving spoiling all those little one's!
The company policy is $400 per year. I have never heard about the $300 per quarter.
The payment plan is always available. When you use the payment plan the entire kit will be shipped immediately. Initially it is $35... then the rest of the kit is split up into 2 payments over the following months. Great program!!
Grandma's are a great addition to Discovery Toys! They market to an entire different crowd than younger mom's! I love all the grandma's on my team! Plus, they can provide so much expertise and knowledge for all of us!
