I finally decided to set up my A** website and would love to hear from others in terms of what you all think is important to include on your websites - i.e. what makes a website successful????

I would love to hear too. I am getting ready to renew my website and want to revamp the best for people to join, rather than people just doing retail.

Here are a couple of things that manke your website successful:

1-Send people to yor website all the time...and have a reason for them to keep going back. Have it change on a regular basis (even if you just get the background templates that change every month). If it doesn't change, people won't see a need to revisit it...but, if it changes, people will want to find out why...did you post a new special? New products? etc. I would have something on the homepage that changes at least monthly...highlight a product or give a discount.

2-Make it personal. Several who have signed up on my team told me that it was because they saw my website and they felt like they could relate to me or I seemed like a real person to them. Do NOT merely use the provided pages. They have a lot of great information and they are a good STARTING place...not an ending place.

When I was starting up my site, I just started looking at everyone's that I could find to see what I liked and didn't like. So start looking around. Best of luck!

Call me crazy... but I don't like the idea of putting myself or my children on my website.

Prior to being with Arbonne, I was a real estate agent. I know for a fact that there are sick people that look for "pretty" agents and then ask them to see a listing. Most times nothing bad happens, but sometimes it does. Last thing I want to do is put myself or my children in harms way.

The problem that I have with our sites, is that we are so limited on what we can do. I don't like the idea of mixing business / products. I would rather have one or the other.

I have yet to find a way to work our websites. Because you may be lucky and have somebody find your site, but will they sign up the first time they look at the site? Probably not because it looks just like every other arbonne site. I don't like the sizzle and the business stuff on the default page. Its not the kind of page I would create, but it's all we can have :( Maybe the IT director will make some changes to give us some more freedom on the net.
