I had an open house yesterday. It was ok. I only had a few customers. I think I didn't do so well on advertising. I also think I will pick a different location in my town next time. soemwhere more centrally located. I also think I just might stick to the home parties and fairs and things like that.
But I also wanted to say...in March I got my first recruit!! and someone caled me thursday and she is 99% set on joining! She came by today to pick up some more info. So, cross your fingers!!smileys/smiley1.gif
If so then I just need 3 more to get diamond (whihc is my goal by the end of next march (2007) and my other goal is to start making $2,000 a month by march of next year so I have filled out and am following the 'monthly income goals" I jsut have to earn $50 and I have already reached my goals for April!!smileys/smiley1.gif
its baby steps but I am still getting somewhere! also my dh was very unsupportive but he is starting to really come around as he sees how serious I am taking this.smileys/smiley32.gif

Congrats on your 1st recruit!! You will make your Diamond Level before March 07!! Matter of fact I think you will make it by June!! :) Even though you didnt' have a huge turnout, you had people come and check out your products! Thats very important, and some of those may call you for some home parties!

Can I ask, where did you have your Open House? Did you rent a location or have it at home?
I'm thinking of doing one in June, but don't know where I should have it.

I rented a church fellowship hall. But next time I would rent someplace that was in a better location of my town, more centrally located. I would say, if it is poeple that you know I would let them come to your house if you want cause there is no cost there so you are not losing out on any profit but if its the whole community then I would not want people that I didn't know in my house. Thats just my opinion.
I am thinking of having another open house this time I am thinking of having it at my house and inviting people I know by mailing out actual invitations. This time I just hung up flyers.
