It just dawned on me...I am on my 3rd COTM delivery, and I'm STILL
using the same Bella Bar that came in my first one! These things last
forever & a day...And yes, I do shower every day!smileys/smiley36.gif

smileys/smiley20.gifSo true!!!

As we were moving from Florida to Chicago, I would stack up my products with all of our "millionssmileys/smiley19.gif," or so it seemed, boxes.

When we finally settled in to our new placesmileys/smiley17.gif, I said to my hubby, "Honey, let's try these Bella Bars and stop buying our soaps from Whole Foods."

I would hear people's testimonials about shaving with their Bella Bar etc.

The FIRST time I used it, I felt the difference. I was concerned about our skin because we moved to a much drier climate with HEAT ONsmileys/smiley5.gif in the winter.

This is the MOST conditioning cleanser I've ever used.

There is a woman on my team who washes her baby's hair with it.

Yep, it's long lasting AND super softening. And the scents are all lovely and long lasting.

Does anyone ever use the Bella Bars for hand washing? I seem to have to wash my hands a lot and my hands are getting dry. I was using the Bella Liquid Hand Wash, but seem to go through it so fast. So I was thinking of putting the Bella Bar in my soap dish. But I wasn't sure if it was as good with killing germs, etc. - you know, the reasons you wash your hands. smileys/smiley1.gif Any input?

I have a bar at each sink. I trust it to kill the germs smileys/smiley1.gif

Thanks, Cinnamon. My toddler just goes to Gymboree, the park, etc., and I know she picks up all kinds of germs from kids with runny noses and such. So I just wanted to make sure it's killing those germs. You know what I mean? Call me paranoid, but I can handle her getting dirty and such; it's the flu and cold germs and such I like to get rid of. smileys/smiley36.gif

Here's a great way to use your bar. I melt mine down and pour into jars, lasts longer, and is easier...no soap mess.

Just cut bar into chunks and put in pan on stove with water.

4 cups of water is VERY thick

6 cups of water is thick but better.

I put the water on hi, then when it gets ready to boil, turn to simmmer. Simmer until all is melted down, takes hours.

Then I pour into glass jars or a tupperware bowl, whatever you have. Leave lid off to cool and thicken up.

Then I leave it by the sink for myface wash. I am on my 2nd jar, it's been about 4 months, not even half gone, and I still have another full jar to use. All from one bar!

Yes, it works GREAT!smileys/smiley2.gif

I just wanted to say that I wash my little ppokey bear (one year old daughter Erin) in the bella bars and they are GREAT! She had really chapped skin on her cheaks from these crazy Indiana winters and it was lasting for a few weeks/months and I was trying vasaline, lotion, ect. Now all I do is wash her in the soap. I don't even use lotion at all on her and the chapped skin was gone in a couple of weeks and her skin is soft all over. I also use it and I have my supicions that my dh is using it also although he just said "he mistook it for his" (being a "manly man") although his soap is green and ours is white so I think he is trying to play it cool.smileys/smiley36.gif

smileys/smiley36.gif Yeah, husbands sometimes don't want to admit how they love that Mystical Melon or Juniper Breeze smelling soaps; but you know they use them. I guess they don't want us to know that even "Manly Men" want extra soft skin too. smileys/smiley36.gif

Thanks for the info on the Bella Bars, ladies. I appreciate it and will be loading myhandsoap dishes with them.

I use it as hand soap as well. I've been cutting the bar in half so the entire bar doesn't get mushy as quickly. It cleared up my chapped hands. I tried it as shampoo but my hair is very long and it used up the soap too quicklysmileys/smiley7.gifSo I'm sticking to using it for hands and body.

My hubby went upstairs to have a bath last night while I continued on the computer for a while longer downstairs.

I was wandering around before heading up to bed - closing windows and locking doors. I kept getting a "whiff" of SO&CP when I walked past the stairs and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Especially since I had been burning my Coconut Macaroon jar off and on for most of the day.

This happened three times before I realized it was coming from hubby's bath - all the way upstairs!smileys/smiley4.gif

We all enjoy using it as a bath bar. Hubby doesn't think it lathers enough to use for shaving but he uses half a can of shaving cream when he shaves! smileys/smiley36.gif

I've only used it a couple times so far, but I'm sure hoping it will help moisturize as our Alberta winters are extremely dry. I usually need to apply hand lotion a couple times a day plus body lotion at bed. C'mon Bella Bar!

Blessings,

Vicki

I'm so glad some of you mentioned using them on you wee ones! I've been
searching for a natural baby wash & trying to decide which one to
get. I didn't know if the fragrance would be OK for my 14.5 mo old, but
it sounds like it would be fine for him! That makes me very happy!smileys/smiley32.gif

WoW! I'm going to try melting the Bella Bar doewn & using it as a liqiud hand soap! I never thought of that!

I've been using the Bella Bars as shampoo & soap -also shave legs, under arms, etc. they seem to go fast with two people. Need two a month! The lather for shampoo is incredible! It lathers better than any shampoo I've ever used!
