Hi, was burning a candle that I got at a store. When I blew it out, it smoked and smelled terrible there by defeating the purpose of burning the scent. Are there any candles that don't have that smoke/soot when blown out?

Scentsy is a wonderful flameless sootless wickless wax warmer system. We have over 80 scents and 50 warmers! Our wax is actually WARMED with a light bulb instead of BURNED. The wax gets just a few degrees above body temperature and with no flame you also lose the risk of burns! Sounds like it would be a perfect fit!

Mia Bella is virtually soot free. All candles have some soot due to burning of a flame, but ours are very minimal and won't get all over your walls.

With our multipurpose warmers from For Every Home, you can melt our cubes or take the bowl off and place our candles on the warmer plate to melt. :) Our candles also provide minimal smoke but with any candle you should trim the wick before use and make sure the candle is not burning near a drafty area.

Greetings!

From what I read you are looking for a candle with the ambiance and flicker of a flame, without the horrid 'smell' and trailing smioke when blowing it out. Well, every candle out there will 'smoke' for a moment when you blow it out as the wick is still hot and the moment the flame is gone it no longer is able to 'consume' so it smokes as the wicks cool. However you can prevent this on ANY candle! The trick is to 'dip the wick'. You can purchase wick dippers fairly inexpensive at most places that carry candles, you can even use the tip of a knife or somthing non-flamable.

You simply push the wick into the wax to 'snuff' it then lift it back up straight once again. This will also coat the wick aiding in relighting when you are ready.

Of course before relighting, trim the wick to 1/4 inch for the best results!

If you are looking for a clean burning candle, one that does not have smoke while the candle is actually burning and does not leave 'black' on the rim of the jar, Gold Canyon is an amazing, powerfully scented, clean burning candle line :)

Hi, you stop the over-abundance of smoke production due to extinguishing your candle by using a wick dipper. The dipper is a metal "hook" with which you first push the wick into the wax melt pool to extinguish, then "hook" the wick & stand it up again in its proper position (vertical). Besides eliminating excessive smoke, this process prevents accidental splashing of melted wax if blown out too forcibly and it coats the wick with a layer of wax, conditioning it for easier re-lighting. Works better than anything else we've tried.
