Hello,
I am still somewhat new so I get my webpage for free. However, I don't have a big clientel yet but I also don't have a lot of people looking at it. I don't want to pay $120 a year for something that wont get used. Whats yoru take on this?
And do you have one?

I have my webpage on everything!
One thing I did was ask for referrals. This is how I worked it. I asked my friends and family to pass along my webpage address to those they thought would be interested. I had the names from everyone who participated. When those referrals signed my guest book, I sent them a sample size product. The friend/family who referred this person also got a free gift. If all 10 of their names signed my guest book, they got a full size product.
I have great clients from doing this and the hits on my webpage increased.
Since I have my web address at the bottom of my posts, I have seen a huge increase in webpage hits. Something to think about adding.
Make sure it is on your product guides, business cards and even your mail!

I am sitting here thinking about what I did when I was new!
Have a BeautiControl Open House with your webpage for 1 week. BeautiControl had these when I first started. If they place an order, you could give them a % discount in honor of Mother's Day.
I am running a Mother's Day 1 week only sale the last week of April! They have to email, shopfrommy webpage or call with their orders to get the discount. It will be a mystery hostess party and the winner will get my hostess benefits including a neckwrap.
I have had great success with this type of online party. It may be a way to generate more hits for you. Yes, I do get orders from my webpage. Mainly reorders from clients.

Another thing, BeautiControl will link clients to your beautipage if you are active. I just got a commission fromon line sells. I know it wasn't anyone I knew becauseI called headquarters to find out who placed the order and they told me that they randomly select active consultants. They are a lot of people who loose their consultant and have to order their products on-line. They are referred to active consultant's web page.
Something to think about. It is only a few dollars a month and it is a tax write offsmileys/smiley2.gif
