Hey everyone. I just got on with iDictate and have not received a file to do yet. But I was wondering for anyone who knows if it works the same way as Quicktate as far as keeping track of words and such. Do I use the same Excel spreadsheet, just for iDictate files or is there some other system to it? Any help would be great. Thanks.

You can use the same spreadsheet to keep track of your iDictate files. If you go to the spreadsheet thread there are instructions for changing the numbers to work with the higher pay scale.

I will say that iDictate is much better at paying correctly than Quicktate. I put the info regarding how to use the spreadsheet for iDictate too because I'm a numbers person and like to keep track of what I make.
If your iDictate pay does not match what you show, it's probably because of a difference in the number of words done. You can always log into iDictate after you've submitted your completed file and see if your word count matches what they put as the total word count. I have found that it sometimes differs by 1 or 2 words.
Hope that helps.
