Hi, all...I was just wondering if someone could please give me an idea
of how much inventory I should try to build up to keeping at home?
Do you try to keep on hand a little bit of everything, or are there
some products that you'd favor over others as far as keeping a stock at
home?
We sold 5 jars in our first week, or I should say, my HUSBAND sold the 5 jars! smileys/smiley36.gif I thought that was a pretty good start.
Thanks for any suggestions!

I try to keep on hand a dozen jars, a couple of each soaps, and a small assortment of votives. That's about all I try to keep in stock.

Thank you, Sandy. I wasn't sure if I should try to build up a "huge" reserve here or what...
Maybe I only need a ton of stuff if I'm going to do a lot of big commercial shows then? (Which I'm not planning on.)
Do people just have to buy from what you have on hand, or do they wait
patiently for you to sell enough to include their choice in your next
order? (Online ordering will make all of this much easier, I'm
sure.)

My experience has been that the more you have the more you sell. People like to get their candles now!! My wife originally ordered as she needed but she was continuallyfinding herselfshort on certain items. I finally persuaded her to order her best sellers by the case. Scents like Sweet Orange and Chil Pepper and Sex On The Beach - I would never be without at least acase of these in the pipeline. If you don't currently have a customer for one of these you will if you place it under their noses!! =) All The Best!

Thank you. That's a great idea. I'm going to have to work up to that
point in my budget though. Right now it's bare bones, and I do mean
bare bones, lol.
PS I love your "Boss Free Dad" theme! smileys/smiley32.gif

Thankyou! Because Ithought your "Work-At-Home Grandmother!" themewas terrific and went and checked out your web site when you first posted.
You don'tHAVE to ordera whole case of each scent, ya know, but I've always ended up selling everything I've ordered so I like to get lots of 'em. I've found it hard to keep these candles in stock!! smileys/smiley36.gifEdited by: Silverback
