Hi,
I'm looking for something I can do from home part-time. I need to generate some funds for Christmas and for a school trip my daughter will be taking in the spring. I do proofreading and copy editing, and I'm very good at writing instructional documents, but I don't have a degree or experience in jobs dedicated to just those things. Any ideas?
Thanks!

I would check the Writing section of this forum. I've posted a couple of job openings on there regarding editing and writing. Go to the 1st two pages. Plus, their are tons of other opportunities you can apply for.... try Demand Studios as well. Good Luck!!;)

Hi,
Have you thought about having your own home business? You can really make some good money online, but you will have to set aside time every day to advertise... 1 or 2 hours a day.
Good luck,
Karie :)

Since you havve a lot of writing experience, that might be your niche. I agree with blueblue. Check out the writing section on this forum. And you may also want to look for work at home technical writing positions too.

You can do SEO/SEM/Linkbuilding straight from your home if you are familiar with these.

It does sound like technical writing might be a good niche for you. One great thing, this type of writing tends to pay quite a bit better.
If you are serious about making it a career, you might also want to see if there's a local chapter of the Society of Technical Communication near you.
The link to the main site is: Welcome to the Society for Technical Communication (http://www.stc.org/)
You might also want to keep up on Craigslist ads. I've seen an occasional ad there.
