the part of this that sucks the most is that my youngest was almost completely potty trained, and now I had to go back to putting diapers on her.smileys/smiley19.gif Hope this hasn't set her back too much. I've been changing diapers for 7.5 years straight and when she's done with diapers, then so am I!!smileys/smiley36.gif

Cassandra, The same thing happened to me when my daughter was potty training. For about a week she went back to diapers during and shortly after the sickness, then things go back to normal. It's awful to go through it though with the whole fam!! Hope you are all better soon.

I'm new to the board but have been watching and learning things from everyone over the last few weeks.
Cassandra, I just had to ask, are you andDH using the Defense Builder Antioxidants and kids the Children's vitamins. It just peeked my curiousity. I've been taking them since October and my boys got a stomach bug in December and I never even got nausea. I have since learned that the children's have the same Antioxidant components in them.
After realizing this I started my 5 year old on them in February but the 3 year old wouldn't even try to chew them. The week after starting my 5 year old on them the 3 year old got a nasty Virus with 103+ fever but the older one never got it(it was contagious because his whole class had it). I asked the doc and pharmacist and both said putting them in a pill crusher and putting them with juice or applesauce etc was fine. I started putting them in his morning juice in the Tupperware sipper so he couldn't see it but the opening was large enough for the vitamin to pass through. Worked like a charm.
Everyone that I have started them on hasn't been sick one time. That could be coincidence but I will never press my luck. If I forget for 2 days I can get a sniffle but take them and it goes away the next day. Like I said just curious if you got the bug while on them. Thanks, April

Thank you for asking!
yesterday dh took off work and ds stayed home from school
today everyone says they feel fine so I'm taking my 5 year old and my 3 year old daughters to the library for storytime (first time we'll be out and about since last Saturday!) so we'll see how things go! (well I took off yesterday to do some shopping- more b.r.a.t. diet stuff, that I hope we don't need now) and of course to just "get away"smileys/smiley4.gif
