I am trying to change the title which is the name(Day Relax) of the simple forum theme I just uploaded.
But I don't know how to go about doing it. I looked at the index.template.php but did not see "Day Relax" anywhere. I also looked in Settings.template.php, theme_info.xml, index.php and BoardIndex.template.php
with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Are you trying to change the title in the Mega Tags? I am not quite following you. :)

Oh, sorry I switched it back to default forum. It's back now. Anyway I am trying to change the title that came with the the theme(day relax)to the name of my forum "Thomas County Forum" I did a search on the SMF forum and was told to edit the code in the index template but there is no code like this How to Change Title / Logo part in Default theme (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=44138.0)

Thanks for taking the time to help me

if you are referring to this: http://thomascountyforum.com/Themes/Day_relaxrc3/images/mylogo.png ....

that is an image that needs to be altered.

EDIT: Kindly disregard this post from me, I had not realized you already solved the problem.

I may be a bit confused, so if I am--I do apologize.

Are you wanting to change the title from "Thomas County Forum" to the new name of
"Day Rela?"

If so, look for the this code:

<td class="catbg" height="32">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 140%; ">Thomas County Forum</span> Simply write the new name in-between the "Span" tags.
There is more than one location for that title. Also be sure to change the title as well.
<title>Thomas County Forum - Index</title>

Good luck!

Hi Tim, I am trying to change Day Relax to Thomas County Forum but I can't find the code that you have in your post in any of the index pages

Rhonda,

Not sure if this has been resolved yet, as I still see the mirrored text "Day Relax Theme" in the blue header just below and to the left of the date. I'm assuming this is what you want to change since you already have Thomas County Forum right above "General Category".

If you're trying to remove the Day Relax Theme wording where I indicated, Chef Bek was correct in that it is an image file that will need to be replaced, not anything in your index page or templates.

If you need help with this, please let me know and I'll be glad to help.

Thanks,
Becky
