I have been in business for 1 year now working itwith muchdifficultly. I have only the cold market to go by my warm market is dry. I had thought about going around to my local neighborhoods door to door and asking to meet one on one using the results method. With the new products coming and the price increases andproduct discontinues I'm really nervous that this will give me even more problems I have been working withmy upline but they dont seem to be much help to me at this time ifIcould get some advice on whatsome of you have done. I am a stay at homemomwith 2 children and my husband is in the military our funds are so tight that is the reason I joined this business to begin with unfortunatly I need to see financial results soon. Or I'm notgoing to make it. I dont mindgiving upmy right now money as long as I know that I will get a commision check at the end of the month if you have any sugguestions pleaseI'm open to hear them.

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't give up your commission, especially if funds are tight and you need to start seeing money now. It takes ALOT of sales to see a profit in the override, especially if you are still at consultant status. You can still offer a discount on the re9 line, and still make a profit. Just make sure to give excellent customer service and follow up. After they are loving the products and using them, then you can offer the account.

I am also a stay at home mom in the military. It can be done. I don't know about going door to door. Maybe that is working somewhat, but you need to get out and establish relationships. Join the spouses club on base. They are always having fundraisers that would give you the perfect opportunity to introduce your business and products. Does the base have a paper? You can place an ad for really cheap. Do whatever you can to get out and meet people. Go to the gym. Join up for different group activities. There are always playgroups offered on bases. I wouldn't worry about what is happening after NTC. I have a feeling it is going to help our business tremendously. Best of luck!Edited by: bbrown1226

I am prior military (6 years in Army) and dh is retired Army. It's difficult being in a military family, having to move every few years to a new place where you know no one, and doing it on a very limited budget. Sucks, I know it does. I wouldn't suggest going door to door with the results approach though.

I forget which VP it is, but one had moved from Canada to Florida and knew no one, she met a lady at church who agreed to host a presentation for her and from that one lady her business grew because for the bookings from that one presentation, and the bookings from those and so on. It really only takes one or two key people to get your momentum going, so don't give up.

If your hubby is supportive, what about if you have an Open House for the guys to come over and order gifts for their wives for Mothers Day which is next month. The aromatherapy sets make terrific gifts, what Mother doesn't need to Unwind?smileys/smiley36.gif

join your local chamber of commerce, you may be able to attend a mixer or two before joining, this is a great way to meet people who you may be able to network with, most of the time you won't be able to exchange cards, but you'll be able to tell people what you do and get some interest that way, come up with a cute 10 second "commercial" to peak their interest.
