It seems like most of the jobs talked about here are work-at-home jobs such as discussed in separate categories all over the WAHM board, but I must be missing something since it's called "Telecommuting." What's the difference?

Basically they mean the same thing: You're working at home. But some people have an office job that allows them to telecommute some of the time.

They are just the same. Some companies allow their employees to work at home but to summarize, there's no big difference between the two.

Okay, just trying to figure out why there's a separate folder. From what a couple of ya'll are saying, could it be that telecommuters are actually employees working from home rather than ICs?

I actually think they call it this because some actually work in the office and work from home.
