Does anyone know which pencil shade would be closest to navy? I can't tell if it would be mermaid or slate.

mermaid is green, slate is a bluish grey

Thanks Cassandra! Is it a blue-green by chance? Just trying to get the right color for her. She wrote back and said to order the mermaid, but don't want to end up with it being returned.

omg, I didn't mean to write that mermaid was green, I meant to say that mermaid was a blue.smileys/smiley36.gif slate is more of a gray than a blue
