Hello. I have been asking around trying to find an answer to my question and I was wondering if you all could help out...

If you are doing a home party, how much shipping do you add to each person's order? Since the new boxes accommodate up to 50 lbs, how do you calculate it? I know you have to add taxes (state & local). Just wondering what you all do to keep your out of pocket shipping costs down when making a big order.

I asked my sponsor too and I am awaiting her response but I would like to hear different methods if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Has anyone had a chance to read over this question? I keep searching high and low and still do not know how to do this.

I have heard of several ways distributors handle the shipping. Most commonly, a 10% shipping fee per order or a FLAT fee of $3 per order ,( or whatever )
I factor tax and shipping into my total price and sell items for a even dollar amount.

Thanks Debra! That is very helpful. I especially like your idea of finding a flat dollar price for every item that includes tax and shipping.

I do a flat rate as well, it should work out especially if you are placing orders for several customers at a time I tell them when orders are placed usually 2 times a month. If I have more orders it is more often. good luck

I make it known that there is just one "nominal" fee added to each order to represent taxes and shipping to keep my numbers nice and round! :)
