I am brand new to BeautiControl and still trying to figure everything out. smileys/smiley5.gifI recently went to a spa escape and the consultant there gave everyone a pair of socks to put on there feet after we foot on the foot lotion. Then she told us the socks were ours to keep as a gift. My question is does anyone else do this and where are you buying the socks? Socks aren't always cheap and I like this idea but its gotta be affordable too smileys/smiley17.gif
Thanks for your help.

I do something similar, except I offer the socks. Some people don't mind using their own while others don't have any. I buy mine from walmart. I get a pack of 10 for less than $6. pretty reasonable. Although, I'm going to look around for cheaper ones!

Hi Selina!
Welcome to BC and WAHM! You can check out www.spasupplysource.com (http://www.spasupplysource.com) for socks and other items to use for spas.
As of now I don't give the socks away but a lot of consultants do. When I get a little better established (when I can afford itsmileys/smiley4.gif) I plan on giving them as gifts. The socks at spa supply are only $7.20 per dozen. That's really not a bad price.
If you have any other questions, the women on this board are really great for answers and helpful tips.
Good luck and welcome!

Selina,
Welcome! You will find everyone on this board helpful and there are a lot of good ideas to help you get your business going.
I also use the socks from spasupplysource.com they have the word spa on them.
My guests do not mind that they do not get to keep the socks. It reminds them that they can heat their own socks after putting on the lotion.
They all enjoy this part!

Hi! Welcome to BC Selina! I don't give away the socks. I do a door prize usually, and offer things for the hostess and those willing to sign up as hostesses, but beyond that it can really eat into your profits. I have the Sam's socks, and well as the Spa Supply socks. That website mentioned above has other great things to check into.
I just wanted to also offer that the money saved by not giving the socks can be spent on a stamp and note card mailed to each guest thanking them for attending the spa. I do that, and I think it helps with growing a client base, letting them know that I offer individual skin care and make up services too.smileys/smiley2.gif
Hope that is helpful! Keep asking the questions. We all learn from them!
