I was just wondering which companies allow their reps to sell on auction sites? Just curious!

I'm rather new to Country Bunny Bath & Body, butmy understanding is that we are allowed to sell on auction sites, BUT we cannot discount the retailproduct price.
Someone please correct me if I ammistaken.

I think I can (it doesn't say anywhere that I can't) with BabyCrazy.

Your right Mary Beth. However, have you seen the auctions for SD? There are over 500 auctions right now. I know for a fact that some of those are reps selling. It irritates me to no end that some can't and won't play by the rules. But it happens in all companies.

With Discovery Toys if you do and get reported, you lose your status.

I'm sorry but I think selling your DS products on ebay cheapens the value. I go to ebay when I don't want to pay full price, you know what I mean?

I only use ebay to find items I can't otherwise find, such as out of print books and games.

I LOVE ebay, but I agree...I go there to buy things at a discount...I got a pair of Gap jeans for my 2 year old today for .99 total of 2.99 with shipping. Can't beat that!

I know we can't do that... I think the key to direct sales/party plans is the personal customer service we can offer & I'm not sure how well that can translate to ebay. I'm sure it can in some circumstances, but ebay is just so different from the party plan philosophy. smileys/smiley36.gif I don't think that made any sense... I hope folks know what I'm trying to say.

We cannot with @rbonne, but I know there is always lots of our product on there smileys/smiley7.gifI've heard of people getting some nasty outdated product to. But ya, we'll lose our status as well.
I love Ebay and have a store but I would never sell my DS product, I agree that it cheapens the name of the company and the incredible products.

We can not sell on Ebay either, but there are alot of people that do it - if you as a designer get caught or knowingly sell to someone who is listing on ebay - HGP can close your account. I have seen some items listed which I have to laugh at - even though it disgusts me - the price listed with shipping is way more than they would pay with a designer!
