This job isn't for just anyone, but it is perfect for someone!!
I'm an extremely high energy owner of a small real estate company in need of part-time help. Most of the work can be done from home (since I supply a laptop, printer and cell phone), but there is work to be done in my home office about once a week (and of course, more during training).
I need someone really honest and dependable to book appointments, input data, prepare listing and offer paperwork, problem solve, file, work with clients and run errands if needed - to be total back up for me. I also want someone who can learn our marketing/email system and create and schedule emails to go out regularly. Due to my business, I can not always be reached when I'm out with clients, so my assistant must always be accessible by the cell phone provided. I need someone to learn a lot of what I know, so they can assist and support our newer Realtors and keep our clients happy!
Job pays $8 per hour and most of the hours can be worked at home. Hours seem to run between 20 to 30 hours a week (sometimes more during the high season or training). Hours are paid at the following closing. During the high season we have 3 or 4 closings a month, and during the slow season it can be one a month. Therefore, some months you get a lot of smaller checks and other months you get a larger check. As my assistant, you know when they closings are, since you help schedule them!
Once you understand the paperwork, some of the agents will pay $100 at closings if you prepare and coordinate their paperwork and they will also pay you to schedule their appointments. I have two lead systems that I will bonus you on once you learn them, as well.
There is a lot of room for growth, as our company is only 3 years old and we already have 10 agents. We are looking to grow and want someone who will grow with us. As we start making more money, so can you. We want someone to stay and grow with the company.
After a year, I sent my last assistant to real estate school (and paid for it) and will do the same for you if you are interested in becoming licensed.
This job is perfect for someone who wants to work from home and doesn't mind being paid once a month (during the slow season and much more frequently during the busy seasons). And we really want someone who will stay and grow with the company. It takes a long time to train someone, so we want someone who will be around!
If this crazy job sounds like something that would work for you, please feel free to send questions and/or a resume and a personal note with your experience and why you think we might work well together and I’ll send you our website, so you can learn a little more about us.

The original ad was in Houston Craigslist, and the location is listed as Katy, which is about 30 min away from Houston.
