We are seeking a Part Time Information Desk Associate to join our team. This is a remote position. The Associate is responsible for resolving inquires in a timely manner and recording the inquiries appropriately into the main database. The position is also responsible for all aspects of phone and email shopping, as well as reviewing call recordings, and will be responsible for providing documentation for Sylvan Learning Centers Quality Assurance Reviews. In addition, this position is responsible for approving Center Level Website Submissions in a timely manner.
As a successful Information Desk Associate you will:
• Investigate customer inquires and examines related materials, and converses or corresponds with customer and other company personnel to obtain facts regarding customer inquiry and resolution.
• Notify customer and if necessary designated personnel of resolution
• Communicate to management process changes to help resolve inquires more efficiently
• Follow up on recommended resolution to ensure customer satisfaction
• Enter all information regarding inquiries into computer database
• Prepare Prep work to create factual information for shopper calls
• Conduct shopper calls to Centers within provided guidelines
• Conducts email shops to Centers within provided guidelines
• Review Call Recordings when necessary
• Complete evaluation/documentation in specified timeframe
• Review and approves Center Level Website Submissions
• Perform tasks outside SLC Information Desk Operations as required
We Require:
• 3+ years in a customer service role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; proven customer service skills; and, accurate documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Flexible schedule to include evening and weekend availability
We Prefer:
• Current or previous Sylvan Learning experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Sales experience
• Previous phone experience
