Online High School Science Teachers Needed (part time)
Beacon Academy of Nevada (a statewide virtual charter school Beacon Academy of Nevada | Where Education Clicks (http://banv.org)) in its third year of operations is looking for online teachers to fill positions as highly qualified to teach earth science or physical science.
Applicant Requirements:
a. Nevada secondary (9-12) teaching certificate (must already have license)
b. Highly qualified to teach earth science or physical science
c. Passion for technology and teaching

4. Endorsements approved by Nevada Department of Education
Most of our part time teachers work during the day for other school districts in Nevada or are semi retired - and then teach online from home during the evenings. We provide computer and phone.
Compensation
Part time teachers are paid a minimum of $4200 per semester for a block of 55 students (or tenth of above that number) along with bonus incentives. The average semester student load for part time teachers is: 90 students = $6900.
