Know what? I've had the last two days off. It felt great. I stayed home, made up some fliers and "free spa escape" coupons to take to a public babyshower, and did some household chores. The more and more I got done the more and more I realized I hate my job. I want to be a stay at home wife (not a mom yet!) and have found myself very enviose of everyone that already is! I have really got to make money thorough this company so I can pay off our bills and quit. Thats really what I want. In factI have a sort of "plan" 50% ofeverything I make goes towards a creadit card I'm trying to pay off. The other 50%stays inmy businessaccount. Do you all have any ideas on how I can pay off my bills fast? My hubby and I are already on a payment plan but so far it doesn't seem to be working as well as I'd like it too. Sorry for my ranting but I've got to get it off my chest! :) Any ideas would be helpful! thank you!

Rose,

Do your best to fill up your calendar and keep doing your 50/50. The more people you come in contact with and the more you offer the opportunity, it will happen! It is a numbers game like everyone says. I do not currently work outside the home and that has been great for me to concentrate on building my business.

Sorry I don't have any magic answers!

I'm with you Rose, about not working outside the home! I am
really hoping to make as much with this business as I do part time as a
nurse. That is a tall order, but I know it is more than possible.smileys/smiley2.gif

As for payiing off the bills faster, the only thing I can offer is to
look very closely at your monthly expenses. See if you can cut
anything out, dinner out, cable tv, trips to the mall. You can
increase your monthly income by cutting expenses. My husband
decided we are going on a spending diet. We are not buying
anything that isn't a necessity for a year. Not sure we can make
it that long, but it will save us so much! No more decorating, no
helpful kitchen gadget, no kids meals at McD! Its going to be
tough! I named the things just this week I was tempted to buy.

Well, hope that helps at least a little!smileys/smiley1.gif

OH, I wanted to add that I think its a great idea to limit how much you
invest in the business the way you are. I end up spending more
than I want to on sales aids! Those sure add up. I think
you are on the right track!

Thanks guys. Yesterday I was pretty upset while sitting at my desk just itching to be out. I feel like a caged animal but I know I had better do well so that I can quickly pay off my stupid debt and what not! I just wish my hubby and I weren't part of the "young & dumb" catagorie when it came to credit cards! WEre learning though.

angela, good luck with you spending diet! That sounds really hard but really rewarding!

Can you get a second job just for like 6 months that would really help you get things paid off faster.

I've thought about it. My husbands in the military so I hate spending time away (hence, reason #1 why I joined BC) I really think I'd hate my jobs if I got two, which I think would eventually turn me away from BC because I wouldn't have a lot of time. I guess for me, BC is my second job. I just can't seem to get it off the ground!

Rose,
I just watched a few videos about getting rid of dept and cash flow planning and one thing I really liked what that the guy suggested that you make a list of all your debts (for us: new furniture, new appliances, school loans, mortgage) from the smallest to largest and pay off the smallest amounts first. Then you can feel like you've accomplished something and can start paying more on the bigger debts. Good luck and stick with it. A lot of people are in trouble with credit cards so it's good that you've recognized it and are trying to get out.

Every day at your job is one day closer to being a stay at home wife!
